Better than expected quality, easy to assemble/use
I wasn't sure what to expect, since the price felt relatively low, but this is a well-made frame that goes together easily. I have a 10 mesh needlepoint project on it right now and it's a tiny bit loose, but the canvas is so thick/coarse that I can't really blame the frame for that. Still totally workable, and I imagine it would be perfect with finer fabrics. Nice to be able to roll the excess canvas around the bottom!

Well built, easy to use, attractive frame.
The frame is simple to work with and keeps the canvas taut. The wood is sturdy, smooth and attractive. It enhances the finished product of the needlework. I have the frame in both small and medium sizes.The only reason I didn't give five (5) stars in all the categories is because the clamps deform over time, become loose and pop out. The company should provide replacement clamps to be purchased, so that you don't have to go to the expense of rebuying the entire frame. Nevertheless, I would definitely repurchase this frame again. I looked at other frames (both online and in person in my New York City area), prior to selecting this one. The Goncharoff Tapestry Scroll Embroidery Frame is by far the best.

Works great. Makes it easier to sew. My arthritis does not bother me. I put the scroll in my craft stand and sew away.

Easy to Assemble & Works Well for Me!
GONCHAROFF TAPESTRY SCROLL EMBROIDERY FRAMES - I bought the medium size of this frame and I love it. First time with this product. I have an 11" x 8" piece on this frame although I bought it for a larger piece that I am also working. I have this piece mounted vertically as I can work it more easily that way. I mounted it horizontally, at first, but that proved to be too awkward for me. Vertically works great for this small piece. There are 7 holes in each of the 2 vertical bars (aka: frame). That allows for a number of different sized cross stitch pieces (worked at different times, of course). It was easy to put together and it arrived fairly quick. I am very pleased with this item!

clips don't hold much material
I didn't like the clips to hold the material. I am doing a cross stitch baby quilt and they didn't hold the material in place. I am sure it would be great for smaller projects but not if there is a lot of material.
