HR72-KIT 7.2 Volt Nitro NiCd Battery/Charger Kit

I needed a battery and charger and this seemed like a good one. Battery life is about the time it is in the info pack. Found out the charge time from another review for this battery. (charge time is 4 hours) All in all it's a pretty good battery for the price.

AGAIN & AGAIN HR72-KIT 7.2 Volt Nitro NiCd Battery/Charger Kit... I purchased this battery pack after the original type would no longer hold a charge and and were costing more from Sears. It's being used in a Sears RC 65 Mustang that was purchased 20 yrs ago. My grandson is now the owner of his first Mustang. This replacement battery charges just as quick and seems to hold it's charge as long or better than the original packs and was purchased at a lot lower price. Granted this is being used in a kids toy running around the great room floor or on the driveway. Not sure it would hold up for those that are into serious RC racing, as with anything it depends on what your needs are.  AGAIN & AGAIN HR72-KIT 7.2 Volt Nitro NiCd Battery/Charger Kit

We are extremely displeased, in fact shocked! I would like to send a photo showing the battery - if someone would send me an address. The black plastic stretch wrap that covered the two cells of the battery split on top and bottom, revealing that the cells are covered in cardboard. One of the cells shows a big damp spot that means that the battery has leaked. We were lucky that the battery did not damage the remote-control vehicle that is was supposed to power. We live in Peru ... too far away to return the battery for replacement because shipping is too costly to give us practical results. My grandson had been waiting anxiously for his brother to return from school in the U.S. to bring the battery and charger. You can imagine his disappointment that the expensive battery is now useless.

Charge time is >NOT< stated anywhere in the instructions.It only warns: "Do not overcharge" several times.Battery life is normal; maybe 25 minutes on a Tamiya Hornet.It took me almost an hour of searching the web before I found out how long to charge it.That's just sloppy; it should have been the very first thing stated in the instructions.

Great - used it along with other ones I had bought for a "very old" toy remote control truck I had from the early 90's. We had a blast! Very surprised my old truck performed so well!

I had a car sitting for like 10 years, I was surprised to find something that would fit it Fabulous.

The battery did not fit the device that I was trying to power up. I ordered the battery according to the model number of the old battery and the new one was too big for the device. There were no dimensions given when I placed the order. Now I am stuck with a $25 battery thats good for nothing.
