UPDATE:I contacted the seller at their post-sales customer support email that was provided with the playpen - they were very quick to respond and immediately sent me a new playpen.That experience overall warrants a 5 star review, unfortunately I need to dock a star based on product functionality and quality.The original came ripped in the top corners, which is a point for stress in the design as it assembled. I presume a previous buyer did not assemble it correctly and caused the damage, then returned it to Amazon. These corners are not high quality stitches, so it's not surprising to see it be a point of failure.My main criticism of this playpen is that it's a VERY challenging assembly (I'm a 200 lb grown man), and not something easy to take down if you intend to throw the fabric in the laundry or move it. It's not a "pop-up" play pen (ex: take it on a short vacation), it's a set it and forget it for a while playpen.The next criticism is the zipper feels poor quality, and with the way the fabric is pulled very tightly around the poles it can be difficult to operate. Not a deal breaker, but worth mentioning.Price is acceptable for what you get, just know what you're getting.Original review below - note I was quite angry at the time given the circumstances, just know that customer service is great:~~~~~~~~~~~Missed the return window because I bought this early before my newborn was ready for this playpen.Upon set up I'm getting to the final step of installation and 3 of the 4 corners have the mesh fabric coming off the seams - this thing will not hold up.Absolute trash. Either I got a "returned" item that someone else ripped up during install, or this is not a good product.Hoping the manufacturer reaches out with a resolution, this will stay as 1 star until then.

I love the size and that it’s lightweight and it was nice it came with a reversible mat. It was easy enough to assemble.. What I don’t like is having to disassemble to wash and that it isn’t high quality so not sure how long it’ll hold up. I wish the mesh liner design was a snap on design so you didn’t have to disassemble the whole frame to wash.. our baby has poop explosions so washing and ease of washing is a must! I love our Graco octagon play yard because you snap liner off and pop into the wash and the frame opens and locks into place, you don’t assemble it! But the Graco is small so I bought this large square design. I have to admit I get nervous about leaning over the side to reach a toy or child because it is not made to withstand that. It’s flimsy. With that said ~ it is a perfect size and the included mat is thin but fits it very well. I think it’ll work for our toddler and infant for as long as we need it as long as no one starts trying to climb the sides! There are fabric corner covers that Velcro into place to cover corner components.. our toddler pulls them down because the Velcro doesn’t hold them very well.. again a snap feature would. Also it came with pull up handles that hook over the sides but out toddler removes them repeatedly so I gave up trying to keep them on for our infant

This product seems like it would be hard to piece together. But if I can do it in under 30 minutes (with “help” from a 5 year old and 6 month old) then you can too! Also the seller was very nice even reaching out to see how I like the playpen! Will def place more orders from them! The only thing I regret is it may be a tad to big for my living room. Probably should have bought a 50” by 50” but man my kids love the extra space to play!

We use this not necessarily to contain our 15 month old but to keep her items in a specific spot and keep the dogs OUT! The make is great, it’s sturdy, and durable. I read that some mats had a chemical smell but ours did not At all! I am extremely satisfied with this product!!

This playpen is awesome to keep our grandson out of harms way. I love that when he's not here we can disassemble and place in a closet. It takes less than 10 minutes to assemble or remove. And it comes with a bag to place all the bars and base inside. The pad is nice and colorful and it too folds up nice for storage. Great value for the money.
