Q: My Pomeranian weighs 15 lbs. Will this hold him

The size is more critical than the dog weight. My dog is 15 pounds and 19 inches nose to butt and it fits him fine with a couple of inches to spare. Thank you.

Q: What is the recommended weight of the dog for this. My pup is 20 lbs, would it hold him?

I bought this for my 25 Lb pug, she fits perfect with room to move around & get comfy. I luv this dog car seat, she is so much safer in it.

Q: Fixed tabs? where do i insert them? please do not respond in the seat and is it necessary? what type of car was this car seat built for?

I really don’t what type of car it was built for but I love the doggie car seat. I usually only use the two straps that go over the headrest. I have a little MALTESE so she has lots of room to lay down or sit in it. I just make to tie her down with the strap provided to her color. Sorry but yeah I guess the two tabs go between the seat and the seat back. I really don’t use them.

Q: Will this hold a pug?

Yes it will. We have one for a yorkie and then one that is a mixed breed. She weighs 15lbs. I don't see any reason that a pug couldn't fit in it. Thx
