College student loves these!
Love everything about these hair ties! I am a male Native American college student in Texas with long hair! I bought these because I wanted a hair tie that was more masculine looking and shows off my native pride! I love wearing these in my hair as well as wearing them on my wrist for a bracelet. I receive many compliments about them. They work amazing in my strait hair! Added bonus I am supporting a small company that is supporting the nonprofit group Sew For Hope! Win win all around if you ask me!

A must for thick hair!!!!
I have very thick wavy hair that I have been growing out for awhile. I am not a novice to the hair tie game and usually go through a cycle of buying the regular black one made of thick hair and then abusing them by forcing them in my hair or on my wrist until the rubber shows through and they snap. I have been using these for one month constantly! I mean I took it out of the package and put it in my hair and I haven’t had it off of my body since. I’m really happy with the way that these hold my hair and more importantly the way that they come out of my hair which is to say that they pull any of it out when I take them off. I have attached a photo of the one that I have been using and although it has been fading a bit it is still going strong. The company seems wonderful and I feel good about giving my money to a small business that helps to empower others. I was hesitant about the price but I don’t think I’ll be buying anything other than these hair bands ever again!

Great!
They're great for a ponytails. I'm not sure about the more elaborate hairstyles though. It definitely adds some color and character versus using a regular hair tie. I'm big on Native American culture and love to support brands by the good folk. Give these a shot because worse case scenario if you don't like them it's $12 of trying out something you could potentially love and you'd be purchasing for a good cause. They also went the additional mile of sending a thank you notice and an additional new style-hairband. That's customer service you do not see on a day to day especially when it comes to big corporations.

Cute but not durable
These are really cute and I've gotten a ton of compliments from people who are surprised they're hairbands. I also really like that purchasing these helps support refugees and they're pretty easy on my hair and taking them out doesn't pull on my hair or leave lines. However, upon getting them I could already see faint white stress lines on one of the three bands. Also it's been almost a couple of weeks and the two bands I've been using so far are already stretching out and show signs of wear. These are not durable at all long term but I don't regret this purchase. I'm going to attempt to see if there's a way I can fix the stretch-out - maybe drying them with heat? When they fail I'll be on the search to find a new hairband!

While comfortable, they're not durable. Very overpriced for what's being offered.
While these men's hair bands are nice to look at, and they are comfortable, they are not built to last. The material is thin, and they are only sewn together with a single stitch. Other bands, at similar pricing, with similar designs, are more heavily stitched, made with thicker, or durable material. I've used these a few times, but feel that they're going to break easily, or the stitching is going to come undone. I bought a 100 pack of black bands made out of better material for the same price as these three. I was hoping that these were going to be as good quality as my other hair bands, but I'm sad to say they're not. I really liked the designs on these, and that's about the only good thing about them. I'll use them until they wear out or break, but I won't buy them again. I've reviewed other bands that are built with superior material, and built to last.

A little disappointed
I use them all the time. They kind of wad up so you can't really see the design which was why I bought them. All you can see are the colors, not the native American patterns I was hoping for. They were kind of expensive so I was a bit disappointed. They work well though.

VERY COOL ITEM!!
I decided to let my hair grow at 72 years old and have a pony tail. The rubber bands kept breaking so I saw this on Amazon. They work really good for holding my pony tail and putting it on, but what I mainly use them for now is as a decorative wrist band. They look very cool!! A few buddies of mine saw it on my wrist and asked where they could get them? It was easier for me to just order them on Amazon and give them away to them. I think I have ordered them 3 or 4 times now, as I can use them for my hair and also as a wrist bracelet also. Joe Meyer

We love these!
Males and females in our family have long hair; we have purchased several sets of these bands over the past couple of years, and wear them on our wrists so we can put our hair up whenever necessary. The bands are striking and unusual, and look cool whether on the wrist or in the hair. They are definitely unlike any elastic-type hair band that one can buy in the drug store!
