I chose the SANWENYU Single Ear Wireless Earbud Bluetooth Headset because it was the cheapest discrete single earbud I could find. It has significantly exceeded my expectations.I haven't timed the battery life but it seems better than advertised. I can get about two days of constant usage out of it.Also it is impressively durable. I accidentally left it in my pocket and put it through the washing machine and dryer. I was sure no electronics would survive that but after a couple of days when it had dried out, it works just as well as before.I'm not a great judge of audio quality but it's certainly good enough for a single earpiece. Both music and speech are very clear and it has enough volume to be heard in very loud places.It's pretty comfortable, even without flexible tip attached, though I do notice it after several hours. Then again, maybe it's a good thing not to forget you have something in your ear.And, though it doesn't match my skin tone perfectly, I'm guessing it is pretty discrete because no one has said anything to me about it. Or maybe it just looks like a hearing aid and people aren't that rude.The range is about what you'd expect from a Bluetooth device, which impresses me since it is so small.All in all, it's an excellent value. I highly recommend it.

It stays in either ear. I have lost more earbuds than I want to admit, they fall out and break. I walked around bending, reaching, turning my head while all movements while cleaning house - no issue of feeling like they will fall out and this little earbud did not fall out or need adjusting for the entire time. Connected to my phone instantly. No issues mentioned by the caller.It is perfect for audible books and answering the phone. It works well with or without that rubber piece - I prefer without.Connected easily and fast. Music sounds good enough for me, but I mostly use house speakers for music.Can't comment on battery life or time to fully charge, because I just got it and only used it thus far only a little more than two hours on the battery charge it came with.Easy to control pause and start. Overall it is exactly what I was looking for and recommend for that purpose, listening to audio books. I defer to someone who listens to music solely on ear buds to rate it for music. The price is right.

Update: I liked this earbud a lot so I ordered another one. It was defective. It kept cycling on and off, on and off, repeatedly. It was unusable. So I did a return and had them send me another one & that one did the exact same thing. My original one is still working like a champ, but it looks like the quality control is no longer there to get a backup one. Bummer.Original 5 star review: I got the beige one. This is small enough that it stays in my ear and isn't uncomfortable. Most ear buds are too big for my ears so they are uncomfortable and keep falling out. That doesn't happen with this one. The battery life is very good. And the best part is that the distance is fantastic! I use this to listen to books and podcasts when I'm doing stuff around the house or walking my dog. I can put the phone in my pocket when walking or leave it on the counter as I move room to room in the house and it doesn't lose connectivity. It's amazing. I even went out to the garage to grab something and it cut in and out a bit, but not completely. It's the best one I've EVER had. I've tried many of these type of ear buds and ear hooks over the past few years (at least 15 different ones) and some of them start cutting out if you put your phone in your pocket or turn your head away from the phone. I used to have a good one I loved but my puppy got a hold of it. Every one I bought after that one was mediocre at best. Finally I found one that is even better than the one I used to have (that had been my favorite.)I hope they still have them cuz when I'm done writing this review I'm going to buy a couple more. I like to have multiples on hand and it seems like whenever I find one I like if I go back to buy another they no longer have them. Now that I found a really good one I want to make sure I can get the same one again.

It doesn’t always connect. So I have to turn it on and off and reconnect it to the Bluetooth about 6 times before it will actually connect and stay connected. After that it stays connected all day. Good battery life. Pretty hidden in my ear since I’m not technically supposed to have an earbud at work. The skin color keeps it hidden in my hair. Sound quality is good. So it’s not horrid. It’s just cheap so of course there’s some issues with it.
