Not knee high and quite thin. Shrunk in the dryer. My son needs tall socks for his leg braces. Don't buy it you need them to be TALL.

As another parent stated, these are GREAT for my 6 year old that uses Solid ankle braces (AFO’s). He is small so the 6-10 year size was a little big but not falling off of him. They are thick enough to cushion his legs & feet but not so thick they impact his comfort whilst wearing the braces. We’ve only had them a few weeks but I think we will be ordering more in the near future. Nice quality.
