Sony CD Boombox with Bluetooth and NFC (Black)

A quality CD player is getting hard to find, and this one has performed wonderfully for me.So far I haven't used for anything but playing CDs, but once football season rolls around I will probably use it for the radio as well.The sound off of this thing is great to me, and much better than I seem to get out of your typical bluetooth type speaker that you might use in conjunction with your phone.I don't plan on taking this boombox traveling with me, but it is pretty light so I think it would work well for that if you wanted.to do that.I expect this boombox will perform well and last for quite some time as most of my previous Sony purchases have which is why I decided to spend a little more for this unit instead of going cheaper with a lesser known brand.

I ordered one for myself to play music I have on a USB. Needless to say, I like it since I just ordered another for a dear friend who has helped me tremendously. The sound is rich, and the volume is as loud as you could want it to be. I made a 14 hour USB of Amazon downloads I purchased for the friend and her husband, and it sounded like I was having a Gospel Reunion in my house. As the measurements show, it is not big and bulky, so it can easily sit anywhere. I'm sure it is sturdy enough since my two puppies have already tried to get at it after eating my rocking chairs and blinds. The Boombox survived without damage. I just tested the CD Player, and it's great also - very good sound quality.

My old 20 yer old boom box was getting static on the radio, so I ordered this one, mostly because I wanted to be able to copy songs off of a CD and put them onto a USB drive and play them back. I did't pay much attention to the blue tooth function when thinking of purchasing, but once it arrived, I paired it with my smart phone (which took some effort) and will listen to streamign pod casts via the smart phone to the boom box, theus avoid commercials.The thimgs that were disappointing, or why it got four instead of five stars is...The manual is a huge piece of paper folded like a map instead of a booklet with a table of contents and page numbers.The LCD display is small and does not light up, which makes it hard to read (especially since i am partially blind). This makes it difficult when pairign via blue tooth, or when tryign to set the CD or USB for random playback. I mena how difficult coudl it be to have the wdisplay light up when the power is turned on? You woudl think that would be a no brainer.

I liked that the radio had a usb port— not easy to find. The radio seems a little fragile so I hope it holds up. It is a nice feature that it can record cd’s. Right now I am very happy with it.

This is an excellent product. It is well made with a great sound . I can't say enough good things about it. My Sony Dream Machine that I purchased over 15 years ago still plays but doesn't play MP3's hence my purchase of this item. I've read other reviews here where it was said this item isn't well made and that is absolutely false or that the sound is so so and the Mega base not that great. I disagree. I always go by the saying "you get what you pay for" and I got a great product and it was money well spent!

It's a very simple boombox with technologically advanced features making it perfect for anyone who wants the media-versatility, portability and decent sound quality all in one device.- My favorite feature is the ability to plug in a USB flash drive and play MP3s.- It's battery operated, so you can bring it anywhere you may not have electric hook-up.- Some reviewers have complained about the sound quality. I prefer simple music, maybe it won't do well with complex music such as metal rock etc, but works excellent for meditative music.If your needs are simple as mine, I think you would really like it!

This is the second Sony product which I have bought (same model & features). My first SONY worked for approximately one year (purchased 1/1/20) and its quality of performance deteriorated rapidly after the first use leading to a totally nonfunctional unit. The power cord did not fit the back of the unit, so I had another one which I used. The quality (loudness, etc.) of the new unit was low and poor, and the ability of the CD -> .mp3 burning ability seems to be SLOW (not nearly as good as the first unit I purchased on 1/1/20. The company was apprised by myself and Amazon Prime. I received a message back fro the Seller telling me to return the unit. I responded w/ message "pleease send me a power cord appropriately fitting this Sony, and credit for $10 to us on Amazon; thus sparing me the necessity of returning. Am I able to file an A-> Z Claim? I love this boombox. I wanted one with flash drive capabilities to avoid the "noises" you get when a cd stops and starts. I loaded the music I like to sleep to onto a SanDisk Ultra Fit 3.0 drive, which only sticks out about 1/2 inch from the boombox. It plays beautifully with never a hiccup. So much better than a cd. I've had it about 10 months and have not had any problems with it. I'm very glad I got it.
