WalterDrake Microwave Bowl with Lid Set of 4, White, One Size Fits All

Pretty much perfect bowls with lids. I've bought three sets of four, so I have a dozen of these, and use them several times daily for soup or Jello or cereal. No staining, even with tomato sauce, turmeric, or red dye #7. The plastic can hold boiling liquid without melting, warping, or oozing any toxic smells. I especially like the handles -- they're sturdy, big enough for easy holding but small enough that they take up only empty air space when the bowls are shelved snugly. Full or empty, these bowls stack nicely with or without lids in place. For all but one of our 12 bowls, the lids snap sturdy into place; for one of them the lid doesn't quite snap but does sit flat. I notice that a few reviews mentioned warping, and I'm guessing those are folks with dishwashers; we hand-wash everything and have noticed no problems with warping, or anything else. The one lid that doesn't snap into place came that way, so I've seen no warping. I would buy these again, and I probably will -- 16 would let me make a week's worth of Jello in advance.

I love these soup bowls for several great reasons. 1. They are the right size for a bowl of hot soup. 2. They are very inexpensive. 3. They do not stain even with red tomato, or yellow turmeric . 4. They are both microwave and dishwasher safe. 4. They come with lids which are a perfect fit. 5. The product is made perfectly with no defects. 6. They were delivered with good sturdy packaging and we received them just a few days after ordering. 7. And what I like the most about these bowls are that they are very light weight with a large handle which makes them very easy and pleasant and manageable for both very young and old to hold the bowl in hand and enjoy a hearty hot soup. I use them everyday and love them!!!

I purchased these as replacements for some similar colored plastic bowls I've had for probably 20 years. These are worthy replacements. The only thing I've been able to create stains with is Prego Marinara that I kept in the container and re-heated several times. Inside damage has occurred in one (all my old ones showed the same). I believe what happens is when microwaving something with a bit of fat or oil, the oil may overheat & cause what appears to be delamination. Nothing is loose, however & it comes clean in the dishwasher. Bottom Line: These are handy for storing (like the lids) and reheating left overs as well as heating soup or similar for lunch. I use them daily & really like them. The only reason they are not 5 Star is there is room for improvement; i.e., Never any staining or heat damage.

Great bowl/cup w/handle! The lid secures well (too tightly. The lid design makes it extremely difficult to remove without spilling contents! Unfortunately, I won’t be using the lids.

Love the fact that when used in the microwave, the handle is not hot. Use them for cereal & hot soup.

We are staying in a rental and all our household goods are in storage until we can move into a permanent place. None of the the bowls or cups here are microwaveable! These are perfect for our frequent bowls of soup. The size is perfect, handles fit nicely to hold, the tops are really secure (!) and they are lightweight. They aren’t “fine pottery bowls,” but they do what they’re supposed to do.

These bowls are thin. White. Ugly. There's excess plastic around the rim. There's a raised ridge inside the bowl as well that your spoon scrapes on. I guess it's fine for microwaving and reducing splatter... But you'll feel gross eating directly out of the bowl. I've used a couple of times and the bowl has already stained and developed bubbled disfigurement on the interior from boiling liquids... So is it really microwave safe? Not a fan. Would not buy again. Do not recommend.

Love them, they feel sturdy despite not being too thick, holds a good portion. Mine seem to have completely resisted stains so far. Great tops, would like if they locked but then it'd be more of tuperware, and not locking means no devastation to the microwave if you leave it on. The only thing I really don't like is that the handle is really small, its a little awkward to use, I can fit only like two fingers in it, but I am larger framed male.
