Tried these for the first time yesterday. Trying to move away from the chemicals in Kingsford. We are definitely converted! We cooked for 9 people moving food over one Weber Grill over at least 90 minutes - 2 whole chickens, hot dogs, turkey sausages, a huge batch of asparagus. A single batch of charcoal we started in the chimney was more than enough to cook the entire feast and more. The smell was fantastic, the taste was top notch. Highly recommended.

Makes a great fire; lasts longer; you can actually get enough hot coals to cook you steak without adding more!

Light very easy. I use this in my smoker. It seems to burn for a good period of time, after the initial batch I have to add 4-6 briquettes every 30 minutes for the first hour or so. Over all happy with this product.

Have used this charcoal once in my smoker. It holds a fire longer than the other brands. I like the idea of being chemical free. However, it costs a little more. Good product.

These wood briquettes do light fast and burn evenly and hot, which is great.My only real complaint is the value. The bags are small at approximately 7 lbs each.For the price, I would think the bags would be larger.Otherwise, they work just fine, though a bit expensive.
