I bought this because i saw it installed in a new construction house. I wanted the same technology for my house that I recently purchased. I did not know that power supplies would not be included, nor would instructions. I have been working on this for at least 6 months. I finally found a youtube video in english on how to get power to the 'power risers'. Turns out I had to cut my own ethernet wire to use 4 out of the 8 ethernet wires and reattach it to an ethernet hub. I then had to cut open a three prong electrical extension cable to attach power to the external unit. The ethernet 'riser' needed a 2 prong power cord, so I had to find a cord that had adequate amperage to power the riser. I cut the cord of a curling iron for this. I now have power to the entire thing. But guess what!!I still have to go online and program the indoor and outdoor unit to talk to each other. After I finally do this, I am going to attempt to hook up my electric lock release.I only recently found an english manual ( not just a diagram) that explained what all the acronyms meant on the outdoor module and how I can program the unit and program the ios app.This is a nightmare. I was looking for something simple. What about the 2 wire install intercom this claimed to be. After paying $1000.00 for this,I had to commit to it. Why would you not include proper wiring at this price? I initially was going to get this installed by an electrician, but they wanted $1500.00 and $1200.00 for this unit and this was without programming and installing the internal unit. I should have just used the Ring doorbell. It is still not installed in my front yard pillar. This may take another 6 months.
