Better than expected for the price and good to go!
Ordered these running boards for my 1964 VW Bug. They seem decent enough to bolt on and go and don’t seem bad at all. They are reproductions from Mexico so you do get what you pay for, but they still have a lot to offer as far as value goes. They are sturdy, the rubber is decent and they even have the trim strips along the side of the running boards AND mounting hardware, which I didn’t already have. Despite what others say, mine were not damaged at all and I know these were the last package off a UPS truck that had run all day. Inexpensive and quality enough to use unless you are seeking a concours correct quality build.

Not for the faint at heart
Look, if you are looking at these you are on a tight budget. Do these work, yes. Will you need to trim, bend, cut, pull, push, hammer to get them to fit right...Yes. The end result is as suspected and over all I am okay with them. This is for a daily so it is not out to win shows.

Not resto quality
If you are looking for a good quality running board these are not it. Shipping was fast but they came bent and dented. But I'm not going for 100%resto quality. I just wanted to get rid of the cheap chrome ones. I have installed OEM German running boards and those are great quality. These however are formed wrong and twisted. They do not fit the stock location properly. I loosend my fenders to get a better fit but that didnt help. But again I am not going for show quality just a cheap replacement. These are cheap, a poor design, and even worse fit so buy them knowing they are junk.

2 bag of bolts, washers, nuts & plastic spacers should have been included. Got 1 bag complete, second bag missing half of contents. Received replacement order in very short order. Now NO HARDWARE AT ALL. PACKAGE WAS IN GOOD SHAPE SO COULD NOT OF FELL OUT OF PACKAGE. My star rating just fell to 1 star.
