Works great
Just what I needed to connect a laptop to my monitor without spending a fortune on a high power docking station.

Lots of artifacts it's not good.
Used it with a Odyssey G9 at 5120x1440 @ 120hz or even 60hz getting a lot of vertical sync issues in the desktop (not even playing a game). I have another USB-C to DisplayPort adapter that works fine with the same Monitor/Laptop/Resolution settings, so it's this cable's fault. It works fine with 3440×1440 @ 120hz or 60Hz, although, so it seems to be a bandwidth or noise shielding issue.Stay away from it if you need higher resolutions/refresh rate.

better than expected
I have been using this cable for six months and am not dissapointeed. 4k 60 fps video is great and PD powers my laptop reliably (~50 watts)

Works for VR
I moved all my VR games over to my laptop a while ago after realising how much easier it would be to just move my laptop to the living room instead of dragging my desktop in there. Only one problem, my laptop only has HDMI and Thunderbolt video output, no Mini-DP. This adapter worked a treat, no issues running my Oculus Rift S off it.
