Original Pintail 40 Longboard Skateboard

I have ridden longboards for over two years now and Instantly fell in love with this board. It's so smooth and carves like butter. Everyone that see's me is just amazed by how well this board rides and carves. I have been researching about good longboard and I stumbled across Original. They have really high quality boards for different uses like down hill. This board is meant for mainly for cruising around and carving a lot which is what I do. The only thing I didn't like on the second day of riding was that the board start creaking a bit when I would turn hard, but then I realized that this board has some flex to it so that means the wood is just stretching. The kryptonic wheels aren't bad, they aren't the best either. I'm going to buy Abec 11 flashbacks and Bones Red Bearings. When those come in, this board is truly going to be one hell of a longboard.

I loved my skateboard because beyond having a beautiful and elegant design is very smooth to ride. The wheels have a good grip on asphalt and greatly facilitates the maneuvers. I have nothing to complain about! I am very happy with my purchase. Recommend that skateboard for who loves surfing on asphalt.

I purchased this as a gift for my little brother on Christmas. I know nothing about long-boards, but he really really loved it. He told me that Original is 'The best brand' and he looked really good riding it. Turned out to be the best gift of the year.

I wanted to get back to skating, but I knew I had no business skating like I used since I am 30 now. I did my research what kind of board I wanted for cruising/carving and came across the Original longboard website. This is the board that I just fell in love with as soon as I saw it. I recommend going to their website where you can customize your set-up (trucks, wheels, etc.), since I do not recommend the Kryptonics wheels for anything. For my set-up I kept the standard Original S8 200mm trucks, upgraded the wheels to 70mm 80a Retro ZigZag wheels and kept the standard abec 3 bearings. This came to $209, which is a decent price for a high quality board. It has just enough flex, but it will not break on you, which is good! The grip tape on this board is insane too! My feet always feel secure. Shipping was great from Original too. If you order within the business day (before 3pm EST), it will ship the same day. I recently upgraded the bearings to Bone Reds from Amazon so I do not have to push the board so much. I haven't received the bearings yet, but I am sure I will be kicking myself for not adding them to my set-up in the first place. This board is excellent for beginners all the way to experts since there are so many ways to customize this board. This board will not disappoint. Have fun!

This is my third board and possibly my favorite. I'm really into craving and cruising and this is the perfect board for it. I would recommend it to anyone.(Side note: I bought my board on the official Original website so it could be customized but that's optional.)
