Fresh air and no more flies, moths or other flying insects indoors.
My second purchase of this stuff it is great. I bought some just a couple of weeks ago and promptly got to work cleaning the window frame before applying the tape supplied with the pack.It is very important to make sure the frame is clean and rubbing alcahol is best for this. The tape is a about a cm wide. The tape and is rather like the hook part of velcro and when the netting is stuck to it the hold is great. The best part is that if needed you can remove the net fairly gently and it doesn't damage the netting. This means that it is possible to remove it for washing and put it back up again. It also means that if you want to shut the window you can just lift it up out of the way of the handle. Having tried other similar products where if you take it down you have to throw it away because it tears I was very impressed. The most difficult part I found was in cutting the netting accurately to the right size but that was my fault. You can as they say put the netting up and cut round it but I feel it is better to measure the size required and then cut it first. There is a tiny bit of stretch in the netting which allows for a tight fit and when it is in place it is virtually invisible. There is loads of netting in each pack and would cover a full sized door if required. I have actually decided to buy more for other windows in the house. Maybe I should suggest he sells the tape separately as I don't really need more netting. Having said that the price is exceptionally good value and no more flies and it will keep out the wasps, moths and spiders too.

You do have to cut the mesh yourself (and the velcro) which some people might find tedious for high windows
Does exactly what it says. Some reviews say the velcro peels off, and I suspect the reason for that is that they did not prepare the area properly. To make sure the velcro strips stick and stay stuck, you should wipe the area down with some kind of cleaning spirit to make sure all oil and dust is removed from the surface. I did so, and the strips stick very firmly without peeling. It is a little bit of a hassle to put up and if you're constantly pulling and re-sticking the mesh to the velcro to open and close the window, i imagine the mesh getting quite frayed. Since I leave my window open all summer i don't have this issue, but it's something to consider when buying. You do have to cut the mesh yourself (and the velcro) which some people might find tedious for high windows. For the price, I say it's a good product, and i would recommend it if you want a cheap way to keep bugs out of your home.

Window bug netting
I found this product easy enough to use although I'm not sure how long the velcro tape will stay attached to the window frame as it seemed very cheaply made and not very sticky but did my best. Although I may have to replace the velcro tape at some point the netting seems to be OK quality it's doing the job I got it for and to be honest for the price I can't complain its doing what it's meant to do that's all I can ask.

Was great 3 years ago but terrible quality now. Not the same product
Bought this in 2017 for my bedroom windows and it was amazing. Came in a lovely zip locked bag, folded neatly and thick Velcro. The mesh was great quality, small holes and not too stretchy. Thought I’d buy it again for my living room windows and what I got was shoved into a cardboard box with the thinnest Velcro I’ve ever seen. The fabric is stretchy and the holes are much bigger. Don’t know what’s happened in 3 years but quality has went down the toilet. I don’t recommend at all. It’s not what in the image at all any more.

Velcro too narrow and weak!
My windows are unsuitable for a fixed screen and your Velcro is too narrow and weak. I stuck my own wider and better Velcro at the top of my windows , sewed lead weights along the bottom hem and hung them from the Velcro at the top and now they work fine for me! I also had to cut them and sew them as they were the wrong size but I knew this before I bought them and bought extra curtains to cut up and sew to the bottoms to make them longer!
