I didn’t really expect something this simple to work but it really does! Plugs in easily, then three settings of intensity of noise emitted. I couldn’t hear the first level or two so you can use those without any intrusion into your own experience of the environment , but you can hear the most intense level which is a high pitched noise. I bought two of these - one for the garage and one for the kitchen (the only places I was getting mice as they are the only places my cats aren’t allowed!!). I live in the countryside and mice do get in under the garage door and where the pipes come into the house. I was finding lots of evidence of them (chewed holes in food packets and droppings). However within a few days of using these they disappeared. I’ve kept using them for a few weeks and no sign of the mice returning. Much nicer than alternative of using mouse traps. Def worth a try. Oh … and the cats didn’t seem to be bothered by them at all (still tried to get into kitchen as much as possible).

I live in a one bedroom flat. Had an issue a couple of years before with mice and potentially a rat visiting, sealed up all the holes I could find and my neighbour downstairs put one of these sound plugs (different from this, don't know what brand it was) in their place. Had heard nothing since then, but at the end of the year there the scratching started again, sounded like they were aggressively trying to get in - may even have found a way in. Bought one of these and plugged it in the hall, within a couple of days the noise had stopped in all but one of the rooms (flat is about 58m2, bathroom and kitchen or either end of the hall. I bought a smaller one for that last room). Could hear them come back a couple times but scamper away. That was about 6/7 weeks ago now. If they do come back I'll be posting on here but so far so good!

I installed this in my bedroom as we currently have a little friend chewing the metal pipes and running around above my bedroom which has been driving me demented as I’ve been woken up to those sounds early in the morning.I didn’t expect the lights to flash otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it. But it seems to be doing it’s job. So I’ve just covered the flashing light temporarily while I figure out what to stick on it as it’s very annoying when you are trying to sleep. I’ve not got anywhere else to plug it as that’s where the plug socket is above my bed. Other than that it’s easy to install, plug in and put the setting on that you need.

On the highest setting it irritates humans but it has got rid of the mice in my loft within a few days, would highly reccomend this product.

The media could not be loaded.  this is the worst and most useless device to exist. has not helped at all and in fact made it worse. its not a repellent its an attractant !!! this does nothing and before id average 1 spider a week but now i get 4 a day and they bigger than ever. dont waste your money on this. the spiders have gotten worse since getting this!!!

Purchased this about 1-2 weeks ago. Left it in the same room where I was having a lot of spiders and their numbers went up, not down.There was the odd fly around the house here and there, that seems to have stopped or become less common/noticeable but ultimately I bought this for the spiders so quite disappointing.Also, on all of the modes, I can hear some of the high pitched frequencies when I'm in the same room as the device, over a long period of time, its fairly annoying. It's supposed to repel bugs, not me!

I kept hearing scratching in the wall so reading about this product i gave it a try. I put it on the high frequency when i was out of the house. Then the middle frequency and the scratching stopped. I would highly recommend this product it worked well for me.
