I found this shoe horn at a shoe store and asked if I could buy it. They said no they bought it on Amazon. I took a picture, found it and here we are. It is a two piece set, long handle and a short travel version. Made of metal! Excellent quality, prompt shipping and an unbelievable price. But I think the best part was the hand written note in the box. They must send out hundreds of these and with a hand written note? Incredible. Too bad I cannot give more than 5 stars! My husband wanted a shoehorn but couldn’t find one anywhere. I found this set of two (including a long handled one which he hadn’t considered) so I ordered them. Now my husband loves the ease of sitting and using the long handled one to get his shoes on without having to bend over. It also eliminated the bruising on his index finger from using it as a shoehorn. Very happy with this purchase.

After bending a lighter weight long shoe horn, I looked for one made of steel that would be more rigid. These fit the bill. They’re sturdy, nice-looking, smooth edges (no catching) and the black satin finish allows your foot to slide easily into a shoe. I bought two sets to keep in the bedroom and the mudroom. Excellent buy!

As I get older and creaker, I am in need of stuff that allows me to stuff my appendages into things so that I can go out in public. A decent shoe horn is just such an item.
