These are actually the second water speakers I've purchased - but a different type and different brand. The first ones I ordered were the "SoundSOUL Music Fountain Mini Amplifier Water Speakers I-station7 Apple Speakers (black)." I like these MUCH MUCH better. They're WAY louder, there's more jets and they're more responsive to sound, the lights are brighter, and you can control the speaker volume, lights/jets (on/off), and power right on the side of the unit with buttons - overall MORE versatile. I use these at my desk at work for heavy technical metal and trance music and get comments on them ALL the time. I'm actually a little surprised no one's stolen them yet they're so awesome (although a few people have mentioned that if I leave they may not be there when I get back so...)PROS:-Worth the price!-Good size!-DURABLE, thick case. Have had mine knocked over a few times by peers at work and no issues. Will NOT leak.-Powered via USB cable-Volume buttons-No interference with phone/text signals coming through speakers-Lights/jets (together) can be switched on/off by button (sometimes you don't necessarily want to rave, you just want music)-Power switch button on/off-Cable length will span a good distance-Can get LOUD-Audio is clear, great Treble and good Mids-Lights are nice and bright-6 Jets - and water WILL reach top of case if INPUT volume is strong enough (Note: turn iPOD up, and speakers down until you're happy with volume and height of water. Stronger INPUT = higher water response).CONS:-Obviously due to size of the speakers, don't expect to get any Bass. But you will get everything from Low Mids to High Trebles. Wish they came with some kind of sub USB attachment.-Over time, you may start to hear a low distorted buzz of the water jets through your music. (But remember you can always turn off the jets/lights and still have the speakers when you want!)

The seller is very professional and the speakers arrived very promptly. The picture of the speakers is a bit deceptive as I at least was lead to believe the speakers are filled to the top with liquid creating the dark lava lamp type effect that is in the picture, however the tank is clear and only has a tiny bit of water at the bottom making some jets that jump around to the music. The audio quality isn't amazing however you get what you pay for, you also have to listen to the music quite loud if you want to use the jets(which can be switched off) as otherwise the hissing sound made by the jets interferes with the quality of sound.All this being said, they are still a fun item and good value. I personally would recommend switching on the jets while playing Xbox. There is something very satisfying about a jet of water jumping up every time you fire a shot at someone on black ops. Especially when you get the knife in.

Firstly, the sound quality. Over all it isn't too bad. There is some good volume on these little speakers and they definitely try to push out the bass, but if you have them too loud it will just sound like the audio is somewhat clipping slightly and it can get a bit grating. However, if like me you're just chilling on your PC and listening to Aphex Twin then you will probably appreciate them for what they are and genuinely enjoy yourself.Secondly, the display. The different coloured LED's and the nice squirty water effect really is cool and it does so in time to the music (as best it can), but know this: Ignore the picture, it doesn't look like a lava lamp for a start, and also know that if you're going to listen to music quietly at night, you may want to consider turning off the water feature (by using a handy little switch on the side that just turns it into a bog standard speaker), because the squirting sound will be dominant over any ambient styled music.Other than those couple of down sides, this is a great product and if you're a fan of LED's like I am, then you will have lots of fun with these bad boys. They come with all the cables you need and set up is easy as hell. If you're a music producer, I think it goes without saying that these speakers probably aren't ideal but for just sitting back in the dark with good music and a light display must be good in anyone's books. I would recommend these to people who want to have a good visual effect lined up next to good tunes.Delivery was next day too, so I can really grizzle about that. But all in all, it's the novelty of the item that you're paying for.

I bought these for a gift to my teenage brother. I tried them out before giving to him to make sure that they work and everything's fine and, boy, I spent an hour just sitting and watching the lights and water in the darkness.The product was of good quality and I had no troubles to put it together and start to use it. I would say that the lights could be a bit more quality, because they blend together, because of the splashing water (I checked some videos of other products, where the colours seemed a bit more separated), but overall I was happy. Packing was also very good and ensured that the speakers wouldn't break (they travelled thousands of miles and arrived safely with the original box and no extra padding).My brother (16), who is computer savvy was very happy and excited about the gift. He had small trouble to put it together, but once I told him how to connect both speakers, he had no trouble. They worked well for him too and he already started to create a special setup in his room, so he could use them in darkness. He was very happy with the gift and I'm very happy with my purchase. I think that if I will decide to buy a set for myself, I will most likely buy the square ones, with more space for the water to jump.
