Good Size for Middle and High Schooler (and Adults)
I got these reasonably-priced scissors for sewing kits for Operation Christmas Child boxes for girls aged 10-14. Although probably not what an avid quilter or sewer would want, they will cut fabric and should be fine for beginners. I will also use them for school supply packets for boys aged 10-14.

Really good scissors
I’ve bought these a couple of times for kids serviced by our local donation center’s back to school program. These are a great value for all that you get. They are a heavier scissor for older kids. Love these!
