I use one on my wrist at all times and add one to my ankle for warm evenings with the doors/window open. So far, so good, no bites. Mozzies love me, even flies bite me. Wanted to try something Deet free as I don't like the idea of using chemicals. It's my first try of something like this. When I go away in Oct it will be great if they're working as I always, without fail, get eaten alive when abroad.

A conflict of views within our family. My husband and I say they worked very well (I’m usually a magnet to mosquitos but this summer got nearly zero bites!) However, my teenagers got less than normal but still a fair few! Much prefer them to the sprays we normally use.

They work! The days I wore one on my ankle on our Caribbean holiday I got no bites - the days I forgot I was bitten! Easy to wear and comfortable. Good selection of colours to use for the whole family of husband wife son and daughter and pack perfect size for a two week trip for our family of four

They made a significant difference although weren't 100% effective, despite us changing them every few days and wearing them on both wrists and ankles for much of the time. We used a full packet over the course of a two week holiday, shared between two people.They are very easy to slip on/off the wrists or ankles, don't give any discomfort, have a pleasant and not too strong smell, and look good. The packaging is resealable so you can keep them fresh for longer when they are not required.However, when going out in the evenings we still felt the need to put on conventional spray/oil repellent for extra defense, given we had got a couple of bites before whilst wearing only the bracelets, so I would recommend having other types of repellents as back up.

Sorry to say that I find these useless. Even wearing TWO of them on each wrist and each ankle, day and night, I am still being bitten - and that's in the UK, I'm not in an especially insect-ridden place. I am moderately allergic to insect bites: they itch very much, so do want to be protected from bites at all times if I can. These bands do not seem to be protecting me from bites at all and I've had to revert to spraying myself with standard repellent, which I hate doing. Sadly, I would say that these bands are pretty much completely ineffective.

Not 100% sure how well these actually work as I did get bitten one night, and I was also covered in Deet! But they're cheap for the amount of them, pretty and are much better for the environment than Deet so worth a buy to try and avoid the dreaded Zitak Virus while in Mexico.

Not as advertised the cloth repellent bands turned up.

Saved me from the horse flies but doesn't seem to work with wasps! Need careful storing or the smell permeates everywhere.
