Couldn’t put it down.
Shane is in his third year residency to becoming a pediatric cardiologist, following in his parent’s footsteps. After his best friend, Trent, was killed in a motorcycle accident he decided he needed a new start. He transferred his residency to a new hospital in a new state. This was the second person he has lost. The first was his high school girlfriend. She was in a car accident and he was told she died. His father found out that she wasn’t dead but in a coma. He was never able to see her and then on day she was gone and her family had moved away.Whitney has no memories prior to ten years ago. She is married with two kids. She doesn’t want to stay married but felt obligate because of her kids. Every time she thinks about being intimate with her husband she literally gets nauseated. She has always felt something was off and no one would tell her anything so she stopped asking questions.Shane is attending a Halloween party at his boss’ house. He didn’t want to go but after being told he could bring his brother and girlfriend he went. He was playing guitar (something he picked back up after Trent’s death) and out of nowhere someone was singing lyrics to the song he was playing. That someone was Whitney and she doesn’t know why she was singing a song she had never heard. The reason was, she wrote the song. When Shane looked up he truly thought he was seeing a ghost.I really enjoyed this book. Shane spent 10 years in hell not knowing why she was taken from him. Now she is back in his life he wasn’t going to let her go. But will her husband allow this?

I was hooked from a fb reel
This is the first novel I read on kindle - I got hooked from a fb reel at the crazy story and had to read it. I would call it smut because it is not a literary masterpiece, and a dramatic "oh no they didn't" kind of a thing going on. The romance story is beautiful though and it is a page swiper. Was a fun, entertaining, quick read. I couldn't put it down and kept going until the end. I think the author has talent for hooking the reader. There are a few typos and maybe not always perfect grammar... I know reading is supposed to improve your grammar and vocabulary but if this is what books are coming to we will have some poorly literate generations coming 😅

Good, fast and emotional read
I love a good second chance romance and this one didn’t disappoint. It was emotional, neatly wrapped up, and I was highly invested in these characters resolving their issues and moving on.Some how I completely missed it was book two of a series. While it can be read as a standalone, I suspect there would have been even deeper meaning to the story if I’d read them in order. As it was I was a little lost as to why there were So. Many. Characters. Enough context was provided to keep them straight if you’d never read the first book, but I felt like I was “missing a layer to the story” as these people paraded in and out.I would have loved to see the confrontation between Whitney and her parents last a little longer, with any sort of acknowledgement on their part that they’d done anything wrong but salvaging that relationship wasn’t possible, or the point.I enjoyed it.

More than Memories
The book was a good read. I would like to know how Shane found out that she wasn't dead. Also why he didn't go to her when he found out that she was alive. If she was his one great love, which I think she was, and he knew she loved him why Shane didn't try to find her. I know he saw her on Facebook but why didn't he find out why he was lied too.

Good story line, grammatical errors made it frustrating to read
The story line was intriguing and I would absolutely recommend this book to a friend, however that recommendation would come with a warning that the book is littered with grammatical errors that ruin the flow of your reading. These errors get worse towards the end of the book, but are present from the beginning. Grammar is not a strong suit of mine and I still got tripped up by incorrectly spelled words, double words, misplaced or missing commas, etc. For example, one page says “I’ve have…”. There are just enough errors to make you stop and reread the sentence to make sure you’re understanding what’s happening.

Really enjoyed this
It was a great read, and the characters were really good. Story was a little predictable for a suspense read and I didn't find myself being surprised at all, but at the same time it was a really good read regardless. Like a nice comfort blanket. It would be an amazing read for someone just starting out in the romantic suspense genre but it also a good book for those who want a bit of a palette cleanser from darker books.

not my normal read
I read a snippet from this book on Facebook and needed to know more! This is so far from my normal reads it’s crazy, normally I only read horror, extreme horror, supernatural and crime! But really glad I picked this up and hope to read more about Shaun, Whitney and family! So many emotions in one book will defiantly be keeping an eye on this author.

Brilliantly written
Wow!So brilliantly written, and definitely a story that stood out for me.A love bond so strong, even after everything they went through after a tragedy you couldn't comprehend.A powerful story for sure.

another TIKTOK recommendation
Late night scrolling has led me to many great books. I really enjoyed this one. It had the right amount of depth and fluff to be a perfect palette cleanser.
