Sempio Whole Grain Sprouted Brown Rice, 4.4 Pound

Bought this mainly to try the GABA setting on my  Zojirushi NP-HBC10 Rice Cooker . Even though the Japanese Elephant can cook even the cheapest bulk rice to perfection, white rice just isn't very nutritious or flavorful.The GABA cooking cycle does take a LONG time (2 to 3 hours), most of which seems to be a soaking phase. I initially thought there was something wrong with the machine because it wasn't even getting warm, but eventually it kicked into cooking mode -- and the results were amazing. The rice came out fluffy, firm, and moist without being mushy. The flavor is slightly nutty and there's a low-key, earthy aroma.The only drawback is the high price, otherwise we'd probably never eat white rice again. As an experiment, I mixed the Sempio rice half-and-half with plain white rice and ran it through the GABA setting, the results were excellent. Will definitely be keeping a bag of this on the shelf.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this suit. It cost less than any of the others I looked at, so was somewhat concerned that the quality would suffer because of it. I was thrilled to see that the quality was very good and I have not had any problems or concerns, even when delving deep in the hive. I had to do some major hive renovations which meant for some angry bees (I don't use smoke), but even with thin clothing under the suit I never had any stings through the suit. It is easy to work in and helps me be confident around the bees. It has a large headpiece which keeps the bees away from my face while giving me a good view of what's happening. I especially like the pant leg zippers which make it easy to put on boots. I received my order quickly, and recommend this suit to everyone.

Great suit. Runs a bit small. If you are approaching 6 foot get a XL. I never wear an XL in anything but if I were to buy it again I would. Quality is good and price is right. 5 star if sizing was correct.

Very good rice, but 2 of the last 6 bags I've purchesed, have been contaminated with weevils(?). Picture shows that they are decent swimmers.

nice, clean brown rice. I have eaten a LOT of brown rice, I don't know why this is so different from regular NOT sprouted brown rice but I tried sprouted lentils and I loved them so much I just had to try this rice. The package is pretty too. I cut it open from the back as to not mar the flowers on the front. I'm just weird that way! I don't mind it sitting out on the counter. It's too pretty to hide!

I soaked the rice for 30 mins before I cook but it is still not soft enough once it's done.

My package also had bugs. Not very happy with that. It's too bad. I really enjoy eating GABA Rice. I will find another brand now. If anyone says well sometimes that happens. Take it from this Korean person who grew up on rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner and has had hundreds of bags of rice in her home. No, it does not happen.

I cook all my own food and know exactly what I'm eating and since I've started eating GABA rice I have noticed a significant improvement in my overall health. Also this is the best price I've found for GABA rice, I buy it in bulk and save some that way. For me that is no problem because I'm eating it every day.
