We used the both extension pieces and it fits the width of our hallway perfectly. Looks nice and feels quite sturdy when our puppies jump up on it.The gate only opens one way, which is disappointing, as that doesn't work for our space. It would be better if you could change the two extension pieces around (they only fit one way)& as one is bigger than the other we can't turn it around so that it opens, as the stairs would block half of the gate and wouldn't be enough room to go through it. But I have improvised and used a velcro strap to keep it closed.Easy to put together, recommend 2 people if using the full extension as it is quite wobbly to hold and tighten.

A safe gate, easy to open, easy to install, nice quality, great size looks good.

This is Ok but isn't a sturdy gate system. If you are using for a dog gate this is not suitable for a medium to large dog if they are likely to stand up on it. The extensions are not very sturdy and if your opening is too small for the 2nd extension piece then you end up having the fixing bolts quite long which makes it less rigid as well. Its not really very adjustable to an opening width. Guess given the price its to be expected

I bought 2 of these gates at a great price, they come with 2 extensions to suit all openings and all fittings required, they are simple to install and easy to open and close but are safe at the same time, the silver finish looks great too

It takes a bit of fiddling to get it to lock properly sometimes.- A bit of a hassle to remove and reinstall if you need to move it frequently. A more portable design would be awesome.- The white paint tends to chip off with regular use, so a more durable finish would be appreciated.
