This thing is fantastic. I was using $5 versions from the dollar store. They worked okay but were not very sturdy. These things are really well made and I expect they will last a long time.I tried these because my wolfhound mix would run out of the curtains and lickety split pop open the magnet cases with her teeth and eat the magnets! The edging would also get frayed and come off.With these curtains, there are many magnets enclosed in a strip so she can't see or get at them. It's also nice that there are no gaps anywhere especially around the magnets like the other curtains had. I don't think the edging will come off these curtains.Although they weren't $5 like my other curtains, I think these are worth the money. They look very nice and professional. They were a little big for my doorway, a sliding glass door. (I had forgotten to measure and check the size.) I had to make a little pleat that I stapled and then baste stitched, and that has worked fine. Other than that they were very easy to install. These curtains have one side of the velcro already installed across the top and sides. So you just have to add the velcro they provide to the door way and then press on. It comes in a roll and there is plenty.With the previous curtains, my dog would sometimes forget to go out through the center and would try to go out through the corner and would tear the curtain off the frame. They were so flimsy, that when she tried to start going out through the corner, she knew if she just pushed she could get through. These ones are much more sturdy, so when she has tried to push through on a corner, she realizes pretty quickly that it won't give very easy, and then she backs up and goes out the right way.I also like that it's pretty easy to push just my arm out through the curtain and the rest of it stays firmly closed. So when I close and lock the door in the evening, only my arm slips out and back, and all the bugs stay outside.I think the design of these curtains are about as perfect as these things can be. The only bad part is that I have a metal security door frame around the sliding glass door. So sometimes when my dog runs out, there are so many magnets, they latch on to the security door frame and stay open. I've tried to wrap paper towel rolls around that part of the frame, and that works until the rolls loosen. Trying to figure out a better way to prevent the magnets from latching onto it.

Love it! I can keep the door open to feel the breeze and the bugs out. Very sturdy and closes magnetically. Easy installation. Fits door perfectly.

Best one I've found so far. Lasted all season last year. Easy enough for one capable person to set up. Only 'complaint' I have is my door frames are old wood so the sticky tape/velcro doesn't work for me. But I made due with a staple gun. Works great. Pet friendly, The dogs have no issues using it. Magnets are strong and quiet, no "clacking" noise when they close like other brands

The media could not be loaded. Really impressed with this screen. It was easy to install and has held up great for over a week now. We have two adults, teens and a 115 lb Chesapeake Bay retriever going in and out many times a day. The magnetic feature works great. Definitely helps keep the bugs out on days we want to let fresh air in! Serves as a great dog door too!

Listen up everyone looking at this screen. I have bought three magnetic screens over the last few years and this hands down has been the best! Don’t waste your money thinking that I’m saving a few bucks because in the long run you’re just gonna break down and buy this one. I have a dog who’s ALWAYS in and out. The thick material can handle this type of abuse at the moment. Also a nice feature that its stiff and closes quickly when retracting. The taped Velcro is much easier than tacks like the old ones and adhesion is very strong. I hope this review helps you purchase decision and I did not get paid or compensated for this netting.
