Exactly as described
This is a really useful bit of kit that saves rooting through used batteries to try and guess which may still have power. Particularly useful at Christmas as we have a lot of battery operated lights, some of which use far more power than others.

Only does AA , AAA and Pp3 . Useful but might consider a better one in future!

Extremely versatile
This type of design for battery testers ensures it works on virtually all types of commercial batteries that would fit into the sliding contact. Other testers would have dedicated slots for specific sizes, so you may struggle to test unusual battery sizes.

Easy to use and understand
It is easy to use and understand if a battery needs changing. However, it's not easy to test the button batteries like LR44 or CR 2430 because batteries keep falling out of testing area
