Chipmunks and bugs have made this year's garden a real mess, but this netting is really helping and I'm hoping the second half of the season will be a lot more productive. So far so good. In the past few weeks, it has kept the chipmunks away from the beans and young sunflowers, and the insects off the cucumbers and brassicas. It is lightweight and fairly strong. I like it better than floating row cover because row cover blocks air movement and can lead to disease. By contrast, air can circulate through this netting and light can penetrate easily. I will definitely be adding this to my gardening bag of tricks!

I use netting to protect my delicate vegetables like lettuces and herbs from rabbits and insects. It's hard to find netting that is lightweight enough to let sunshine and water through, but also be durable and not fray on the edges. This net has not been chewed through and the fraying is minimal. Sunlight gets fully through, and water does not pool on the surface. I have a ready made metal frame that I clip the netting to, and it has lasted all season. I'm very pleased with it.

The netting does exactly what it says: keeps "things" out while allowing water and sunshine in. The netting is tough. My objective is to keep the birds and airborne pests off my vegetables. Although the plants are small at this time, the trellises are built and the netting is wide enough to cover the garden. My only issue is that this netting is so long (33 feet) that it is hard to handle. But once in place, it will stay there till the end of the growing season. The netting is strong, I'm expecting to get more than one season of use.
