surprisingly good quality for a solar devise

These lights are attractive, reliable, and long-lasting; I purchased almost two years ago and those that are still standing still function well. The caveat: if you have dogs -- I mean DOGS (not a toy cavaweenie, or some other tidbit of an animal) -- then Don't. Even. Bother. In the normal course of just dogging about the yard, rough-housing and whatnot, they will knock these lights from here to next week; these lights simply aren't built to be bumped into.

bright light, adjustable base

I got a pack of 4 solar lights from Costco and loved them! But, they were sold out when I wanted to get more. I found these and they look similar, so I thought they would be the same. I was disappointed that the light in them is far dimmer than the Costco ones I got and look silly next to the brighter ones I got before.

These lights are the bomb, they look so classy and they light up good at night and they stand up high these are the best ones I've ever had. Especially for the price don't hesitate to buy

They arrived on time & in good conditionThey are as pictured - & have 2 pieces to connect together ( for the stem part) so they can be installed to-be much taller than most landscape lights. Which might be more useful if you need to see them backing up or want them to be taller than some flowers or snow fall perhaps. I quite like their different design & the taller height.However i have noticed they seem to require a FULL day of quite bright sunshine To provide any adequate light output after dark & even then- they dont stay lit thru the night & only last maybe 3- 6 hours after a very bright day. I have different solar lights in different areas - these i put in the brightest areas and even the ones with direct unfiltered southern exposure - go off well before anything else does. ( as recorded in my security cams).But they are pretty & they do work (most days) but if you live in an area with a lot of rainy or overcast days these might not be the best choice if longevity and consistency of the light output is needed. ( they do have a faint glow sometimes after an overcast day& sometimes no glow at all - but then will light up again as expected after a particularly bright day.) i initially thought some were duds - only to find they do work if the sun has been bright enough for long enough that day. I do have all of mine installed with both stems connected so they are at the maximum height. But regadless of location the most they seem to last is a few hours - never -dark to sun up. But they are pretty imo.
