My tall six year old granddaughter is suddenly in to pirates. I bought her the 8-10 and it works well with a little room to grow. She loved the accessories, styling with the scarf around her head. Wore it all day today. Her brother (age 3) got the boys set in a 4-5 and I could have gone a size up for his body length although the sleeves probably would have been long. Great as a costume!
