Our Chopping board wax is made from our mineral oil and beeswax which gives a little more protection but still gives a natural finish which enhances the natural grain of the wood . Our Chopping boars wax comes in two sizes, the 30ml starter tin will easily coat several boards while our 200ml will last much further. Our wax is white in colour so will not darken your board any more than what water will, Please see our enclosed picture of oak chopping board.Our mineral oil will not contaminate food, will not stain or smell We recommend chopping boards are re- oiled once every three to four months which will keep your board in first class condition. If the wood appears dry and water is absorbed then a coat of oil is required. How to apply our Pure Mineral Oil Wood Preparation All unfinished wood pieces should be prepared by sanding before applying a finish to it and removal of all dust particles. Sanding will reduce surface scratches on the wood which will minimize drying time and will also provide a more even sheen. We recommend finishing with 220 grit or higher . Application Apply a thin even coat to the wood with a lint free cloth at room temperature .Put a small amount of oil onto the cloth and begin working the oil onto the surface working your way over the entire piece adding more oil to your cloth. Leave for 15mins and wipe off any excess. Repeat when dry. We recommend 4 initial coats and then to be re-oiled every three months. Or when the surface looks dry. For stone and slate we recommend rubbing very lightly with extra fine wire wool between coats.

Simple and very effective
Surprisingly effective. Kids put multi wooden chopping board in the dishwasher and it came as plain wood. Quick application of this and it looks excellent.
