Great Read Simply Put
Great read simply put. Gave all resources at the back of the book.Couple of points as it does mention buy shares. Though later recommends index funds.Having spent many years of reading share recommendations I would avoid individual shares, statistical they tend to be no better than 50-50 at best.I eventually investigated in World ETFs, not as exciting however lot more profitable long term, with little risk over twenty years. The book doesn't mention rent a room, which is ideal if you are single like some of us.It's not for everyone, however did me no harm and was another good source of revenue.Again Great book, thank you for putting out there.

Fantastic! Simple and to the point. Not overwhelming, nor boring. Anyone (financially savvy or not), would benefit from reading this, and feel motivated by the end. Great intro into taking control of your finances
This short book is an excellent addition to the now extensive range of books available on FIRE and, more generally, on personal finance because:1. It is so concise, clear, free of jargon and because it intentionally avoids going deep into its subject.2. Because the author is from the U.K. and he has written for a U.K. audience3. It acts as a gateway into the subject and suggests other books, calculators and resources to explore as a next stepWell done Andy Farrell.
