This is a callous shaver.
This is actually a callous shaver (poorly disguised since it says so in poorly translated English on the packaging)"Corn blades for corn slicer"As such, it was probably intended to take the thinnest possible shavings, and that's reflected in the angle and blade clearance. It barely touches for the sake of skiving leather, but with a bit of tweaking (bending the head a bit) and maybe filing the blade guard down to be a little thinner, it will be handy for getting into tight spots.I liked it for the small size. Also the blades are "meh". Maybe a stropping will help.

Good for the money, but takes some modification.
Couldn’t get this to work until I bent the head into a 45°. Then noticed that stroping or replacing the blades more frequently than what I would expect is needed. For the price and for my first slicing tool I’m happy, but I’ll be upgrading once the package of included blades are used up.

It slices leather in my case pickled leather (process in preserving a hide) with ease but you really have to be careful not to cut through all the way. Maybe I'm just not good at using it yet not sure but I liked the knife

Blades don't seem to cut it!
Tried to use it and it didn't seem to be very sharp. It stuck in the leather! Tried to use it on both sides of the leather and it did the same. I don't think the replaceable blades are very sharp. The handle is just fine. Comfortable and feels good to my grip. But the proof is in the output and I am not impressed. Why not make the handle to fit vintage double edged razor blades. That way I can get blades that I don't need to special ordered.

It works
This works as a good little leather skiver

Doesn't work
The blade angle is too shallow and doesnt remove material, even when you try and bend it into place

Good for the money
Definitely made for open areas of work. Does what it's designed for. Mine came with some spare blades also
