It features a top-loading dock design that supports both 2.5 and 3.5 inch HDD or SSD, and will clone hard drives without a host computer connection, and dock drives over a SuperSpeed USB 3.0 connection, allowing hassle-free swapping of your drives as needed. A push-button allows switching between Clone and Docking Station mode. Cloning As a hard drive duplicator, the DualDock lets you create an exact sector-by-sector clone from one hard drive to another, including partitions and boot sector information, ensuring data integrity and consistency for sensitive operations such as data recovery. It has an integrated LED indicator that displays the progress of cloning, and an audible prompt tone that indicates when cloning is completed.Dual HDD Docking Station As an external hard drive dock, it lets you connect your drives via a vacant USB 3.0 port on your computer, with each drive slot individually supporting virtually any high capacity 2.5/3.5 inch HDD and SSD, tested up to 6TB for 3.5 inch drives and 2TB for 2.5 inch drives.
