There’s not much hype to an oil filter, at least that’s readily apparent. Like other models, these oil filter cans are readily installed and removed, I have never experienced leakage or a rubber gasket remaining attached to the engine when removing the filter. As this is the same manufacturer for the synthetic oil I have used for decades, I have confidence in the internal operation being of exceptional quality.

It is one of the best oil filters you can buy. But you pay a premium price.

I've been purchasing Royal Purple oil filters to go along with Royal Purple oil for a long time. Royal Purple filters are a commodity these days and are hard to find. The Mobile 1 Extended Performance was recommended by a mechanic, so I purchased one and it does the trick! It's also costs less than a Royal Purple filter which is a plus.

The product’s build quality and performance are excellent.However, it’s a little disappointing that Amazon, over the past 3 years, has gradually increased the price about 80%.

I have always used Mobil 1 products for my Subaru STI and we'll continue to use in the future. The availability of this product on amazon definitely assists my ability to maintain my vehicle properly.

Love being able to get what I need via amazon online vice having to make a trip to the store. With my son being 3 hours away, its easier to have the oil change items sent to his home vice here to make it easier to do the change in his driveway. All I had to do was bring my tools. Everything else was shipped to his home at an affordable price. Let for me to pack up as well as keep me from forgetting something.
