Saved money not hiring a plumber.
Used it to remove an anode rod from a water heater. Worked great for that. Saved a bundle, not hiring a plumber, and now have an extra tool. No comment on longevity, but seemed sturdy.

Very nice impact
My Snap on impact stopped working and I don’t have an extra $400 to replace it right now but I do have some Dewalt batteries so I went with this impact. Glad I did it’s has good power and does the job! Handles everything my Snap on did.

Good for the price
Purchased for $79 during a special so not unhappy. Most importantly it works perfectly with my Dewalt 20v batteries because I don't need additional random batteries and chargers. Has 3 speeds for tightening but only one speed for removal. Auto stops when breaking lugs off as they loosen. This is tool only; no case or sprockets. Seems well made, heavy and durable feel.

Must have for DIY auto repair
Great tool with lots of torque for tire removal and suspension systems. I like the reverse torque stop, prevents the loose bolts from flying out. Weight is about typical of a high torque instrument.

Easily loosens lug nuts
This should work perfectly for my situation!I decided that I want to carry an impact all the time with me in my truck just encase I get a flat tire and need to change out on the side of the road. I have a Dewalt impact at the shop but didn't want to forget to take it with me so I considered buying a second impact. I found this impact that runs on Dewalt 20v batteries and was surprised to see all the good reviews considering it costs almost half what the brand name is. Considering this impact is only going to be used If/When I have a flat, it seemed like a great option. I already carry a few other 20v tools in the truck, so batteries are always on hand. Upon receiving the tool, I immediately slapped on a battery to test it out on the truck. (Ram 1500) It broke the lugs loose with no problems. I had a 5ah battery on the impact and the weight was comfortable, the tool has a good grip design and seems to be made well.

No control over reverse
There's a lot to like about this tool, and for me, a fatal flaw as well. I haven't used it yet - just attached a battery and gotten to know it. But I've decided to return it and try something else.Fatal flaw: the speed/power setting only applies to the forward/tighten direction. Furthermore, there is variable speed controlled by the trigger. For reverse, though, it's high speed/power only - no speed/power selection and no trigger control.Sometimes you want to be gentle on a bolt you're loosening. Suppose it's weak and you don't want to break it. Maybe it's a smaller fastener. This tool has no finesse available. It's a shame, too - forward speed has all that; why not reverse also? If this was one of 2 or three impact wrenches you owned, you could reserve this one for removing axle nuts, etc. But I will only have 1 impact, so it needs to be able to do it all.Not fatal, but annoying, is the reverse free-spin limiter. It will only free-spin about half a second in reverse. No problem under load, but as soon as the bolt breaks free, it stops. You will need to squeeze the trigger repeatedly to spin the nut/bolt out. It's weird to speak of firmware when discussing an impact wrench, but that's the issue here. To tool itself seems great, but the firmware ruins it for me.
