First off Vin decoding function does not work, it took three thinkcar software downloads to get the device to actually connect, avoid this item

OBD dongle

Sturdy and very well made OBD dongle but I it failed to find any of the modules on my 2018 Honda Civic. Attempted to update dongle firmware as instructions but this was also unsuccessful. Returned the item back to Amazon as I suspect it to be faulty

OBD did not find my cars systems

I successfully connect the unit via Bluetooth. Run full system scan. The app showed no systems detected. Tried a number of times. No luck. It maybe that my car doesn't support OBDii. Or I may be using it incorrectly or that the item is faulty. In any case I have returned the scanner. Not fit for use.
