My dog had some log nails and this grinder helped
My dog (rat terrier/jack russel) had some pretty long nails, a little grinding each day and they are much better looking. With the clippers alone I thought I would cut into her blood vein, and on one occasion over a year ago did by accident. This grinder works great to grind either a little bit or a lot depending what you feel comfortable with and makes it a lot easier on the dog, especially if they are sensitive.Noise: There is very little noise from this grinder. Spins like a dremel.Power: uses 2 AA's. I prefer this over a lithium/rechargable battery as I can use rechargeable AA's that I solar-recharge. There are others out there that have a built in rechargeable battery, but supposing you get 3-5 years out and the battery dies, it's not as easy to change as these AA ones. The very little bit of energy used in spinning this device will probably mean you will use it for a month or more before needing to recharge the batteries at all. Also have to note that the price is right! 13.99 online free shipping and the pet store wanted 45.99. What a difference.

not sure...
Barely worked on my 6 month old rabbit. It took forever to file his nails and I didn't even go as low as I could because it was taking too long and he still isn't too fond of being handled. I'll likely try something else.

HAPPY DOG, HAPPY WIFE, IS A HAPPY LIFE IN OUR FAMILY!!!
To start my 12-year-old nail grinder finally gave up. Of course, while I was grooming our dog. He had one foot trimmed until Gasky grinder arrived. I was really surprised and thrilled with Gasky Pet Nail Grinder. It fits perfectly in my hand, the motor is very quiet. What's really great about it is that I'm able to really fit this grinder inside near his inner nail and dull the points missed by my old grinder. He wasn't nervous about my new appliance and neither was his groomer, me!!. I recommend this pet nail grinder to any and all who are nervous about trimming and especially about cutting the nails of their small, medium family members. Thank you.

This product is great, very quiet, easy to use!
This product is great! I have two medium sized dogs who each weigh 48 pounds. The grinder worked perfectly on their toe nails. It is very quiet. I was able to trim the nails on each my dog’s four paws without running out of battery power. I still have battery power for the next time I trim their nails. One of my dogs is fairly calm about doing her nails. It took about 10 or 15 minutes to do all four of her paws. My other dog has always been horribly nervous about having her nails done. My husband still had to feed her kibble while I did her nails but she was was much, much calmer because the grinder is so quiet. It took about the same amount of time to do her nails as my other dog. It used to take twice as long with the other products I have tried. The grinder is lightweight, easy to hold and use. If you have a nervous dog, get this product. It made a huge difference for me and my dogs.

Dog behaved
I have two (a Malti-poo and a Poodle-terrier mix) little dogs. One (the poodle-terrier) did really well with this Dog Nail Grinder. The other one didn't do so well. I'll have to walk him first and get him tired before I try again. Both dogs are extremely difficult to get their nails groomed. But I really like this apparatus, it was reasonably quiet and did what it is supposed to do. I would definitely recommend it.

Durable and Quiet
I have been using this little baby for some time now. I do not use it as intended. I take off all of the 'protectors' and use it to file down the rough edges on my dogs nails. I have a Shih Tzu. I clip them first (which I hate) because you never know.... and then file them down so they are not jagged. I have gotten pretty good knowing how far to go but still there is always that little oops. So far my dog doesn't hate me. I have used the attachment and it works. I guess I'm just used to doing it my way. Battery last for a long time..then again I used it about 1x a month. I have dropped it on the cement slap... numerous times. The battery flops out, I place it back in and turn it back on. Works like a champ. I have had this for about 2+years now and have never replaced the file yet. Then again, I have only used it about 25times.

Quiet and does a good job.
This is a great little tool if your dog doesn’t like getting nails clipped. I grind a couple each time as they need to be done, and we avoid all the trauma. Grinder is not loud, and does a good job keeping the nails from being sharp.

Great for black Chihuahua/Corgi Nails!
Great for black nails where you can't see the quick. Also the guard on the file is great so their little toe bean hairs don't get caught and rip out. The only reason I gae 4/5 is because I wish the motor was a little stronger. I'd like to be able to put more pressure on the file without it stopping spinning. I am wondering if a human acrylic nail file would work...the only thing is that there is no safety guard for humans' files similar to this.I used it immediately out of the box (came with batteries) for about 15-20 minutes and the battery didn't slow down or wear out in that time. It did get slightly warm, but definitely nothing to be concerned about.

Dog Pet Nail Grinder/Filer
Both my Bichons liked this, as did I. Very quiet to run and in use. Easy and non-threatening to the dogs.
