Very smooth, stays in place when locked and doesn't do a lot of bending. Fits in my purse , serves its purpose

So, this tape measurer measures up to 12 feet, as long as a standard one, but more portable. For 3 units it's an affordable price, and with multiple units I can place them around the house so I always have one nearby if I need them.

I am forever losing tape measures or having to take one to one of the house to the other. So having a set of 3 like this is great. Different colors for different rooms as well!These are locked in by default which is great, so if you pull out the tape it will stay engaged until you use the latch to retract it. Also, somewhat unique is that you actually get centimeters and inches, which I really like. It seems like I never have a metric measure when I actually need one. The build quality of all 3 are solid, including the latch to retract and the smoothness of the tapes themselves.Last thing it's nice that it's actually a 12 foot measure. I feel like I always need to measure something between 6 to 10 feet and never have a large enough measure. Now I have 3 of them.So overall this is a great set. It says "mini", but they are just a bit smaller than a full size measure. They are made well and have a slick and well thought out design for daily usage...and I can finally have one in each room I need them in!

I am forever needing a tape measure and having to go find one. I decided I was going to treat tape measures like reading glasses and get enough to have one or three in every room of the house so there was always one handy when I need it. Who knew needing to measure things would happen so often? I got this set of three to add to the collection. I give them a 5 star rating based on what they are. Small, convenient light duty tape measures that will get occasional use. I certainly would not be using them as a daily tool if I used them for a living. They work well, lock out when needed and stand up to the light use household measuring test.

You get a 3 pack of different colored measuring tapes. They're tiny and the perfect size to toss into a purse or a bag to carry with you on the go. Could easily be stored in a car compartment or a junk drawer. Having three you can toss them into different places or share with others. The tape stays out itself when you pull it to measure and you have to push the button on the side to get it to retract. the tape isn't super sturdy, so you won't easily be able to measure a long distance without someone else holding it to keep it from bending. It does bend easily, but that's also a good thing because you can easily bend it that you can measure into corners easier. Overall these are pretty good and I'd definitely recommend.

Seems like my tape measure is always in a different tool kit than the one i have at the time. Now I have enough to put in each kit, or I'll probably keep one out for a drawer to be convenient around the house. What I like most about these is that you don't have to clamp down to hold it in place, it stays where you pull it out until you're ready to retract, then just push a button for auto retract. This also has metric measurements, which my old one does not. They also are a much more convenient size than my 15' that seems to be twice as big, especially since I can't remember ever needing to go over 12' anyway, except for a couple times that also went over the 15.

I guess I didn't read this well enough, I thought you would get one of 3 colors, so I was very surprised to find you got all three. A single compact 12 ft tape measure was worth $12 to me. Three was just unbelievable. And they work great, very smooth, the slide and stop function is very easy. My hands are very arthritic and these buttons can sometimes be a problem. Not so with these. I like keeping a tape measure in my purse,you never know what you'll need to measure, and this is small and compact enough to do that. Really, really pleased
