I wanted to have access to my phone on my bike to control music, look at maps, etc.I've tried many different bike phone mounts but they were all lacking in some way or another. Some were too big and looked bad, some didn't fit my phone's protective case. I tried a top tube bag but the phone rubbed my knees.My solution is a dedicated phone case with a Garmin twist lock mount on the back. I can twist off my bike computer, put it in my shorts pocket, pull the phone out of the other pocket, and twist it on, in 10 or 15 seconds.My cycling friends commented that it would fall off. Indeed, at speed riding gravel or dirt, I put the phone away, but if I'm just cranking on flat stuff, I can have it out. So far, no incidents.

This part simply allows me to place my CatEye computer into a Garmin mount location. I have a recumbent trike with its own challenges for mounting locations. Since there is a wide variety of Garmin mounts available, this CatEye adapter gives me more options for where I can place my CatEye. Recommended!
