Perfect bag for an outing with a kid. I can fit a couple diapers and wipes and still have room for my personal items like wallet keys and phone in the front pocket. It was just what I was looking for.

Very beautiful design with comfortability for daily usage.

I bought this bag to use after I injured my shoulder and couldn't use my backpack. The bag is nicely made as are all Osprey bags. Here is what I can get in it comfortably:cell phone IPhone 5sunglasseswallet 4" x 5"bandanamedical kit 5" x 5"woman's kit 4" x 6"keyslib balm tingranola bar and bag of peanutsI realized that the best way to use this bag is to use the two pockets internally to secure my stuff. Otherwise, it's just a jumble of nonsense that isn't organized. My glasses case is the only thing that is loose. My wallet and cell phone are in the exterior pocket.I gave the bag 4 stars because honestly, who doesn't carry their water and need to put it somewhere? There is no water bottle pocket. You could maybe rig up some straps to the outside with the little loops provided but then getting in that exterior pocket would be tough. It's just likely a design flaw of these sling bags. Once it is on your back the bottle may fall out of the pocket anyway. I can't see taking this on a day hike either as some reviewers noted. You would starve and die of thirst! It's fine for going to the store, running errands etc. and I am not sorry that I bought it but still. The water bottle pocket!

I was using a SCOTTeVEST for work trips but was finding that it is uncomfortable to wear in such small airplane seats with all the items I want to retain with me in my seat to travel comfortably. I was looking for an alternative and since I already travel with an Osprey Porter 30 as my carry on, I decided to look at the company’s other offerings. I found this and decided to give it a try. Everything that I’m carrying in my vest fits in this sling bag. While my Porter 30 is the overhead, I had access to all my items such as a one liter bottle of Aquafina water, a 12 oz orange juice, Apple AirPods Pro, portable battery charger, airline seat phone mount, stylus pen, Chapstick, Vicks Vapo-Inhaler, packets of Splenda, my wallet, work credentials, work iPhone, and a can of Copenhagen. My travel experience improved significantly and I am able to sit in my economy airline seat comfortably. The vest was cool and still works for keeping warm but with all that I carry, it started to feel like a drag. Plus now without out the vest, I don’t have all these strangers approaching me and pestering me about whether I am going on a fishing trip, which I am not ever going to. Sure the vest is a conversation starter to talk about fishing but I don’t partake in that. This Osprey sling is now my second carry on in addition to my Porter 30. There are two pockets with dual zippers and a zip up pocket on the sling. I am able to wear this comfortably with the main body on chest while wearing my Porter 30 on my back. It is a 5 liter size, so keep that in mind. The materials appear to be of high quality and I am very satisfied that I bought this. Looking forward to using on all my trips. Highly recommended.

This is an awesome bag. I use it everyday day, opening and closing the zippers constantly without issue. I love how compact it is even though it holds a good bit of stuff.. It has a type of clam shell design so it lays flat. The materials and stitching are top notch and appears to be very well built. I feel like I will use this bag for a very long time. So far no regrets.

This bag solves 3 problems that other sling packs fall short1- You can wear on either side of your shoulder and there isn’t a buckle or clip to make the swap. At first I thought this was a bad thing, but the design solves a problem most slings have where they break constantly. Instead it’s a basic stopper that pulls tight through a hole.2- the zippers are not the cheaper tie ons. They are secure and easy to pull.3- the strap has comfort where it’s needed and pads extend down farther them both4- the front smaller access isn’t trying to be special or unique. It’s a basic easy to access section with no thrills. How it should be!5- it has a clean and simple look with function inside and out. It’s not trying to be anything other than a bag!I have gone through about 10 other sling bags because none of them have any sort of long-term durability so we will see how this holds up. At first glance material appears to be solid enough to not get holes when tossed around

Very compact, as described. I wish it had side pockets for a bottle and umbrella -- that's my only request for improvement. There are plenty of $25 sling bags on Amazon that have side pockets, so I'm not sure why an Osprey sling bag that's double the price can't have it. Other than that, great quality product.
