I ordered this a few months ago as a back up. I had lost the cord that came with my iPhone and had to go several days without earbuds. I knew that wouldn’t be the last time I would need a need cord without any notice, so I bought this one to keep in my drawer for ‘emergencies’. Having misplaced the second Apple adapter the other day, I was happy to remember this cord, tucked away and waiting. It doesn’t work. I’ve tried it with multiple earbuds and it will only occasionally bring sound through, and usually only after some wiggling around. It’s been months since I ordered it, and I can’t prove that it’s been wrapped in the original packaging until two days ago. Save yourself the $15 bucks and get an actual Apple cord (which is a rip off in its own way, but at least it will work for a while).

I wanted to use this dongle to connect my iPhone 8 to a cassette tape converter in order to play an audio book in my older motorhome. It would play roughly five seconds and then I heard "this device is not compatible"....or something to that effect. When I ordered the dongle, I had not realized that my iPhone 8 came with its own dongle. The true iPhone model worked fine! I wish I had been able to try this out within the return period.

This product was awful. Upon purchase, I hooked it up to my iPhone 8s and not after five minutes of use, it said, 'this accessory was not supported' and it stopped working. I tried again, it worked for less than a minute then stopped working again, saying it was not supported. I put it back in the packaging, and returned it. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!!!!!

I purchased this product so I could use headphones that hang over my ears while running with my iPhone X. Now, I recognize that this product is inexpensive and off brand, so I wasn’t expecting or needing superior quality, nor did i expect it to last forever. I didn’t even get through a full song before the music paused and I received a message that said this device was not supported. This led to a very frustrating run with multiple stops to try and troubleshoot. It ended with my taking my headphones off and making the sensible decision to return this hot garbage.

Received headphone jack and plugged into my iPhone X. It worked for about 1 minute then I got a message on my iPhone saying "This accessory is not supported by this iPhone" and it stopped playing on my headphones. Tried multiple times with the same result. If you have an iPhone beware.

I ordered a 2 pack of these from another vendor on Amazon -- neither of them worked. I ordered this one as a single unit arrived in exactly the same packaging as the "other vendor" and it would not work with my iPhone 7+. 0 for 3... moving on.

I got two of them shipped from UK on time. But the quality is really bad, a lot of noise.I have to throw them away. I then bought two from Apple. Cant go cheap on this.

It worked for about a minute. I have an iPhone 8-plus. I get an error saying it's "not compatible with this Apple device" even though the description says it's supposed to. Beware!
