Fab satchel man bag on a budget!
I bought this to replace my beloved and daily used shoulder bag that I bought about 4 years ago for £50 odd quid from another seller on Amazon, that through A LOT of daily regular use, wear and tear and lots of trips and breaks around Europe had developed a couple of holes and finally the leather piece holding the strap to the bag broke rendering it useless. I was gutted!I looked through Amazon and saw that the exact same bag I had bought back then was still available to buy and the price was still near £50. But out of interest I scrolled down and the Amazon page did it's usual and suggested several similar bags that others had viewed or purchased before or after viewing that one and spotted this one. This one is £12 and in the pictures it looked pretty similar to the one that broke and had a fair customer rating so I decided to take a punt and go for the cheap option and buy it.It arrived and it is 95% identical to the expensive one that broke and it had a couple of benefits that the inside pocket space of the rear external zip pocket is much bigger and it has an extra internal pocket. The canvas material feels and looks identical and the strap and the leather tabs as well as the two front closure leather tabs and other bits actually seem more substantial and stronger. All my gear swapped over perfectly and fits with more to spare!!! These bags are like a damn Tardis and hold a ton of assorted stuff without bulging and/or being a pain to close. It comfortably fits the obscene amount of crap I carry daily which consists of my 10" iPad, 5.5" Samsung Android mobile and my work issue iPhone SE, a couple of paper notebooks and a bunch of pens along with assorted cables, adaptors, headphones, half a dozen or so USB sticks & dongles and a little flat box of my SD, Micro SD and SIM cards in the main section and inside pockets and one of the front pockets. My car and house keys plus a couple of strips of tablets go in the back pocket and my vape mod with a tank, spare coils and a couple of 10ml bottles of liquid all go nicely in one of the two front pockets. It also holds any extra small temporary items like documents, a book etc etc..But fantastically it has so much space that if I go away for a weekend and/or want to use as it as either hand luggage on a flight, train or easily reachable on the floor of the passenger side in a car it then also fits (just about) my 13" MacBook Pro plus its charger, a space saving multi country plug adaptor with 2x USB & 1 UK mains socket and my GoPro Hero 5 with a couple of mounts & spare batteries in the main pocket, a mini pack of anti bacterial wipes, a mini bar of soap and a mini can of anti perspirant all in with my vape gear in that front pocket and my passport plus any tickets/passes in the rear pocket for easy access. It does become a squeeze but it does fit! It is damn close but does not bulge too much and everything closes and stays closed. The overall quality of the bag seems fantastic, especially for £12 quid!!It holds a lot more than I expected and a good bit more than my old one. It has plenty of separate pockets if you need to keep things separate.I am so happy with this bag, I really do love it. I do like to carry far more stuff than I ever need so that just in case I get stuck somewhere I can charge all my gear and keep my essentials close to hand. For 1/4 of the price of my old one I now have a new one that seems to be better made and certainly has a good bit of extra space ideal for daily use and a compact but sufficient short weekender or city break man bag. Will be interesting to see how it lasts. I have a couple of Eurostar trips coming up and some trips to work training around the UK, so it should put it through it's paces and identify any potential flaws.

Absolutely amazing!!!
Absolutely love this!!! Thought it was great value for money first of all. The main area is big enough to hold my binoculars, books, purse, water bottle but at the same time it isn’t too big to be uncomfortable. It has lots of pockets too. The inside has a little pocket with a zip so great for putting phone or money in it. It is closed at the front with a magnetic button that will close when you flip the front over so it’s less work to do. The strap is adjustable so can be as long or as short as you want. I’m 5ft 2 and it’s great for me. Good material and I feel it will last a long time. Overall really pleased.

Plain but sturdy, fits 14" laptop easily
I bought this for a Lenovo IdeaPad5 14", and it does the job in a plain, unostentatious way. The laptop fits easily, with some room to spare, so even a thicker, bulkier 14" should have no problems. It seems strongly built, and the front pockets seem to be just the right size to hold the power pack & lead. Ideally I'd have liked some softer lining to protect the laptop shell, but it's probably fine.I have no idea why this product is gendered; there's nothing particularly "Mens" about it, and I can't see why even the most delicate kitchen goddess couldn't put her laptopette in it.Note: it's definitely not waterproof, although the thick cloth would protect from a casual splash or a bit of rain

Lacks any protection for its contents; completely anonymous. Too small for a thin A4 folder
Comparable in many ways to a similarly-styled bag used for purposes other than those originally designated, this "Laptop Bag 14 inch Mens Canvas Leather Messenger Bags Briefcase Crossbody Satchel Shoulder School Bag Travel Hiking Camping Bag ipad Bag Book Bag Satchel School Bag, 32 x 10 x 27cm, Coffe-1" offers a full-size main compartment, two fabric internal pockets of which one is about 50% larger than the other, two front pockets made of the same heavy fabric as the bag and each capable of holding a smartphone or pocket calculator, and a larger rear pocket that is zipped.Lacking from the main pocket is padding that may help protect a notebook and any means to stiffen its soft bottom and feet or other means to prevent the bag and its contents getting wet should it ever be thoughtlessly placed on the ground after heavy rain or into a puddle - most of us have done it at least once in our lives. It also has a wide adjustable shoulder or cross-body strap that sits well, especially cross-body although it is without a shoulder pad. It is the only means to hold it.It does not offer an organiser section with specific storage for pens and other such objects, but that was not required and bags that included the facility were deliberately passed-over in favour of those that did not; this was one of several potential candidates short-listed.The front flap is secured by magnetic popper fastenings affixed to the front pockets and two short 'pleather' straps. It is not especially secure but the connection makes a reasonably loud plop as they connect and disconnect. The design is quite plain and does not shout 'expensive laptop inside' were that to apply. It appears to be quite well-made and should be more than capable of meeting the purpose for which it was purchased, not to contain a notebook etc, with sufficient pockets and space available for any accessories (primarily a USB data cable and a small power adapter) and consumables likely to be needed. It was later found not to be quite large enough, even when almost empty to contain an A4 work folder or similar and therefore not quite ideal for the intended purpose.
