Took a bit to get used to how it heats up the staples. After heating and figuring out time and pressure for staples to plastic application. Item is very functional and easy-to-use.

Works perfectly but you should definetely practice on plastics that you won't need because it gets hot fast and if you don't know what you're doing you can melt through the plastics.

So easy to use and handy not having to drag a cord. This is worth the slight extra cost for such a great plastic welder. I have used it several times and only charged it when I first received it. Once you practice a few repairs, it becomes very simple to pick up and make quick repairs. The pliers supplied are heavy duty but not flush cut so I don't use the supplied pliers much. I already have flush cut side pliers and end snips. To use just insert staple, press button, insert into plastic the correct depth and release heat trigger until cool enough to pull tool away without pulling out staple.
