For years I tried to secure my extremely thick, coarse, long and unruly hair with ordinary restraints, only to have my hair burst from its confines in the middle of my workday, leaving a trail of snapped elastics and broken barrettes in its wake. Finally, I took a leap of faith and purchased this hair fork as a last resort before chopping it off at chin length. It has been worth every penny, and then some. I twist my hair into a bun, slide the fork in, and everything miraculously stays put ALL DAY LONG. The curved shape lies comfortably against my head, and at the end of the day, my scalp doesn't hurt! Although it is quite pretty to look at, once it's in my hair, it's invisible. I love the fact that there are no moving parts to break, and it's made of solid metal; it will probably be supporting my coif for many years to come. I do intend to buy a couple more, just in case it gets lost, or more likely, stolen by a jealous rival.

I love it! It’s even better than it looks in pix. The prongs do bend a bit, but nothing that should be an issue as long as it’s carefully handled (as hair forks and sticks should be anyway). Very comfy, lightweight, and easily holds my thick, tailbone length curly hair securely—not something any old hair fork can do.I bought it because I outgrew my other hair forks and needed something with at least 5” functional prong length, but it arrived with a smaller hair fork as a free gift. A nice touch, and will make a lovely gift for a friend whose hair is not as thick and unruly as mine.

These hair forks are incredible!! Super strong, while still being very lightweight. I have a few from this seller now, and highly recommend any of his products. He often includes a surprise gift with your order, and shipping is amazingly fast.

A great, strong hair fork that easily withstands the tension of twisting my long hair into an up-do! I've broken both wood and bone hair forks, so I was very pleased to find this product. I've been even more pleased with how it has performed. I bought the curved, 6" version (instead of the straight/4.5") and am pleased to find both options make it so that the prongs of the hair fork remain hidden and in place against the back of my head when I put my hair up.

This is a little pricey, however it's worth it and, you will not be disappointed, it's just gorgeous and I'll buy more

I have 35 inches of thick hair and this product holds it beautifully. It slides perfectly through the hair. I have been using it for the past four days and I am in love with this product. I am glad that I purchased two because I can be more creative when styling, but one will do the trick as well.

I love (and have been collecting) the JWL 2-prong aluminum forks. They're strong, slip into the hair like silk, and conform to the head. The blue did not seem that appealing as the other colors, but having ordered (and loved) the other options, went ahead and ordered it. Very pleasantly surprised. The color is not as appears on screen, but rather is a stunning deep royal blue. Beautiful.
