I love it!
I don't like wearing wrist watches, so having a smart ring is PERFECT for me! I love how durable it is, it's easy to clean, and the app that comes with it is GREAT! The tracking on this thing is flawless and it uses light sensors to track my vitals, so it doesn't even feel like a smart device, just a regular ring! It also charges very quickly, so if I'm using the bathroom or taking a shower at home, I just pop it on the charger for 10-15 minutes and it's good for a few days! I only do it daily just to establish a good routine, and I have forgotten before and let the battery get low, but still haven't had the power die on me yet!I can see it being an issue for lifting weights since it's coated in stainless still and a little bulky, but otherwise very comfortable for other forms of exercise! I can also see it being a problem because of the red and green light sensors at night, it might be disruptive to light sleepers in a dark room, but I just keep my hands under my blankets or pillows, and I sleep just fine! It doesn't light up all the time, just periodically throughout the night. If the tiny lights at night might bother you, you can probably put a thick sock or a glove over your hand at night to block the light. I'm personally not inconvenienced by it at night, and I like that I can't feel anything when it checks my vitals (heart rate, blood oxygen, temperature, just to name a few).I wound up subscribing to the app anually because I really liked how easy it was to set up and how thorough its analysis was for my overall health.

Wish I bought this sooner
I’ve had my Oura ring for about 2 weeks now, and so far I love it. I bought a “random” cheaper ring first, because the price tag and subscription for Oura turned me off, but the other one didn’t work. I returned it and figured I’d try this.First off, get the sizing kit. If you try to guess based off of other rings, you’ll probably be disappointed. I sized it off of my pointer finger, with the intent to move it to smaller fingers as I start losing weight. (I have no interest in having to buy multiple rings if I can avoid it.) It can be worn on either hand, so I have lots of options to swap too as I hit my goals. The ring isn’t tiny, but it’s not obstructive. I’ve gotten used to it and it doesn’t bother me at all. I can shower with it on, wash my hands, go swimming…all the things. As for the tech and the app, super user friendly and easy to use. Everything is pretty intuitive and the data that doesn’t automatically make sense comes with explanations. You can see how everything ties together. Its predictive nature is also 2-for-2 for me. It’s reads your data in its entirety and tells you when things are a little off. I got a warning one morning when I woke up, and spiked a fever that evening. It’s also accurately predicted the timing of other things that women may find useful. One of the main reasons for me getting the Oura was to track sleep. In my opinion, it’s been pretty spot on. If I feel like I’ve laid in bed all night staring at the ceiling, my data matches that. If I feel like I passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow, the data matches it. When I wake up feeling super refreshed, and check the app, it says I slept well. When I wake up feeling like crap, surprise! The app says I slept horribly. From there, it sets your activity target for the day - based on how rested your body is.All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. Only regret is that I spent so long deciding if I really wanted it or not. But, I guess the good thing is that it seems like this model (Oura 4) has fixed a lot of problems some of the older models had. Definitely recommend!

Oura is terrific!
Oura is just what I’ve been looking for in a fitness device—and a lot more.Have been frustrated with previous fitness bands, not very accurate, tiny screens, and need to remove whenever around water.I wasn’t looking for a device that beeps, buzzes, notifies me of calls, emails, etc. Just wanted a reliable , easy to use accurate one.Oura provides tons of data, including basic vitals, steps, detailed sleep analysis , stress levels, and lots of suggestions on how to improve health. It’s waterproof, so I never have to take it off to shower or do dishes. It’s comfortable to wear, and all the data is only available to view on your cell phone, where it’s easy to read.I haven’t yet tried all the great features, including calorie counting. So much to see and learn.I have to charge it about every 4-5 days, not a week as advertised. Charging is fast and easy.Highly recommend!

Difficult fit for accuracy, relatively pricey monthly subscription
I invested in this ring mainly for sleep tracking and it’s awesome! It does everything it should and more. Things I don’t understand it explains well and I like “Advisor” for questions and suggestions. My main issue is size, I’m definitely frustrated. Got the size 7 which was supposed to fit well, but my fingers get cold and the ring is too loose. I live in NH so it’s chilly then it’s hot and humid during our Summer months and my finger swells. So, after 2 months of wearing it it’s definitely too big, the return window has closed so I had to eat the money for a size 6, it just doesn’t fit any finger well. Ideally I am a size 6 1/2 but this does not come in half sizes. Fingers crossed the 6 works. Also, I got it in black and it does have a scratch already after 2 months which is super odd as I’m a Nanny, I do no crazy stuff that involves being hard on my ring, not sure how the scratch happened. I also feel the monthly subscription is a bit pricey for an already very expensive ring. The data is valuable but I wish the subscription was cheaper, so be prepared to pay that on top of the cost of the ring.
