I have Colitis, mine was so bad I almost died in hospital when I had a major attack. Sense I have had my attack 7 years ago I have to watch everything I eat, and I soon find that everything no matter what I eat makes me sick I was lucky in one aspect that I never had gotten internal or external hemorrhoids like lots of people get, than 7 years latter I believe I started to get "internal" hemrioids, not sure because I stopped going to my doctor only because some people with Colitis have lots of health issues and it gets old.I started to research hemorrhoids and kept finding out one of the possible causes was lack of fiber so I decided to order this for the fiber and give it a try, within a week the extreme pain I was having went away. Now I have to say I am not positive they were any kinds of hemorrhoids because as I said my colitis is bad and always will be. I eat healthy but jut about everything makes me ill so this was just one way to get fiber without eating something that could make me ill.I gave it 5 stars even though I agree with people that it is a bit expensive, but think about it, going to a doctor would have cost me much more money and my doctor would have said give it a try it might work and it did, so when you look at going to the doctors over given this a try, than I say it i very inexpensive and worth a tryThe flavor is orange it taste fine, it thickens up so I suggest you use 8oz of water as instructed in the directions and keep a spoon in the cup because you will want to keep steering the drink and you will want to drink it all in about a 1-5 min so it does not thicken up too much, also I drink mine just before I go to bed and I think it works better while I am sleeping but not sure.

Like the "no sugar" part,,,,otherwise works just fine

Good product . Taste is orange. Have too drink rather quickly or it turns to a slim mold. If you pour any left overs in the sink when they will form hard small balls that are hard to clean and you may get fussed at.

TMI, but I was having some bowel issues. Let’s be honest, it’s why you’re reading this review too. Lol. Well, I tried taking Miralax, which was great, but the label says not to take it over an extended amount of time. So, I decided to try Metamucil. It took me awhile to figure out when and how to take it; ex. after a meal, before bed, 1 time a day, 3 times a day, etc….. Not enough made me continue the road of constipation. Too much made me feel bloated. I finally discovered my body likes 2 heaping tablespoons mixed with 8 oz of water right after breakfast (caffeinated drink & toast), which happens to be about an hour after I get up. It’s also super important that the water is VERY cold. Otherwise, the powder begins to coagulate.Price point: In May 2022, I purchased the 30.4 oz from Amazon for $25.30. Today, a month later, I purchased 48.2oz from Walmart for $21.48.

Excellent product

Sadly the price went up after I bought this. I prefer Stevia for sugar free products, and was so happy to get this. I am saddened to see how much the price has gone up since my first purchase and have had to switch brands because of it. This is honestly much better than the other brand I bought though. It dissolves a little better and tastes a little better. I chug it so fast it doesn't matter much though. If the price goes down a little I will definitely buy again though.
