They've re-designed them so there aren't any more "white" dots on the marketThese dots are pricey, yes, but SUPERIOR to every product out there. They're thin (and you can make them even thinner if you squish them between your fingers before applying) and they don't leave a gross film in your mouth like waxI have to wear by braces for 24 months and I'm already on my 10th box. LOVE THESE MOFOS+++++++++Just got lingual braces. Felt like the Fruit Ninja was drunk in my mouth slicing and cutting me up. Wax disintegrated and tasted awful and was impossible to remove. This stayed put and felt like nothing. I get anxiety if I don't have a full box lying around.

When I first tried the product, I thought I wasted my money. The dots kept braking when I applied them to my braces. Then I realized “reading is fundamental!” Only one side of the dot has the adhesive that will cause the dots to remain in place on your braces and if put on as instructed, it will NOT break. The side of the dot facing the clear side of the package is what you have to apply to your brace. I love it! And I’m so happen I slowed down to read the box before my trip out of country because I really needed these! They are great!!

Where have these been all my life?? I'm currently wearing braces for the 2nd time, 25+ years after the first time. These little, clear colored squares are absolutely amazing and after using, I will always be sure to have on hand. Before trying these, I was using gishy goo. And that was much better than regular ortho wax but when re-ordering at $20 for1 tube, with no prime delivery, I saw these and decided to try after my last adjustment left me with a very sharp wire that was killing me. For perfect application: dry bracket and be sure to place sticky side down. Press gently and use the moisture in your mouth along with light pressure from your tongue to mold it. Voila!! Within minutes you should feel relief. These little squares are the best things I have found and I literally have tried everything. Kudos to whoever invented this. Very good job. I encourage everyone suffering from brackets and sharp wires to try this product and I hope you're just as amazed and happy as I am right now. I got these on Thursday to place over a sharp wire that had gouged a hole into my lip. My lip was bleeding and hurt so badly, I could barely talk because the wire just kept catching the same spot. It's Saturday, the sore is almost completely healed and I can finally eat, drink and speak normally. I typically don't review products and I never rave on and on, but these little squares deserve major props!!!! No flavor. Super easy to use. Undetectable. Excellent packaging. Stays put all day long. So yeah...WOW!! Alot of reviews mention the cost and the only thing I can say about that is "ya get what ya pay for."

These OrthoDots come out to .62 cents each when you buy them in a 24 count pack. You can get the regular wax at your local drug store for around .19 cents each. The OrthoDots are actually very thin compared to the regular drug store ones that you roll yourself. The drug store ones cost about a 1/3 of the price of these OrthoDots. That means, you can change them 3 times a day and still be below what one OrthoDot would cost you. Yes, the OrthoDots stick well enough but not 3 times worth. Overall, this is a good product which is way overpriced. I will stick to the regular wax. Just not worth the extra money in my opinion. It's certainly not doing three times the job of the regular wax.

I am a clinical manager at a well-established orthodontic office in the Chicagoland area. I love OrthoDots for the following reasons. #1: Convenience with its single-use packaging (like a band-aid)and its makes it easy for traveling. One box can go a long way! Since it is single-use, it is also much cleaner/more hygienic than wax in a box. #2: It goes on and stays on and it is easy to remove. Plus, you don't have to worry about them accidentally sticking to your clothes or the floor. If you work with children at at school or a camp, I would strongly advise you add OrthoDots to your first aid kit.

Great product concept, work well-ish, don’t use for large brackets(not worth it).I have braces as an adult and I have molar bands w/cleats for 2mos now🤦🏼‍♀️ I can’t eat, chew or swallow w/o shredding my tongue up. I’ve been using wax like crazy.. but that only takes u so far cuz u can’t eat with it or u end up eating it🙈 Saw this product at cvs & figured Amazon has to have It.. sure enough I did. Product is great, attaches to wet bracket/rough spots(being in back hard to”dry” off teeth. It stays put but no much longer than wax, actually less. Drinking is fine with them in.It’s great for small areas or single brackets, smooth & don’t look gross like wax when u talk, laugh or whatever esp if it’s on front teeth.Definitely worth a try if u have single brackets to cover from irritation. Not so much for molar back or large brackets w/hooks.

I do not recommend this product for 2 simple reasons: 1. it doesn’t hold any better than the regular wax, which happens to be way cheaper. 2. Once applied to you brackets, the product doesn’t look anything like what was shown on their photos , not clear at all and looks like just a regular wax clumped together without any form similar to the pictures on their ad. I bought this product so my smiles would look better for our Halloween party, but my smile looks exactly the same as when I had a mouthful of wax. Very disappointed.

OrthoDots price is a little more than other waxes I’ve used, but they are the easiest to put on and take off. They leave no residue. Having adult braces has not been easy, glad I found this brand to help the process along.

it’s good and its true that it sticks better than regular wax however i thought it would actually act as a silicone that can surround the bracket without breaking but its not. it doesnt work like that. the texture is just as good as a regular wax and it also breaks like wax. it just sticks better even when you’re eating except that when youre brushing your teeth then it would also come off. price is a little higher than it should when it comes to its value compared to wax.

They don't stay on as long as normal wax and the price was quite hefty for something that only sticks on half the time. Wouldn't purchance again.
