Effective cost effective repair.
OK. My fault to begin with - I left fuel in both the trimmer and clippers over the winter. Of course, neither would start when I needed them recently. A buddy who repairs small engines told me to just replace the carbs in both. I did and both now run as well as ever. Both kits included gaskets and the extra parts included in the HIPA kit allowed me to replace the fuel filter in both machines. An A+ for both.
