Cruelty free very moisturizing cream for sensitive skin
I have severe atopic dermatitis and have been searching for a cruelty free cream moisturizer that isn't greasy and absorbs quickly. This moisturizer truly fits the bill. I absolutely love it. It's rich and creamy and leaves your skin feeling soothed and smooth.

Great vegan/cruelty free moisturizer
I’ve been using this as a face moisturizer for years - only recently I found out it was technically a body cream. But I have never had any issues. It does not break me out, and despite a lot of other reviews say this, I have never had even the slightest pilling from this. Maybe it does when it is mixed with other products. I use it underneath my sunscreen and makeup and it’s never pilled or made me greasy. It relieves my dry skin quickly. I’ve bought it multiple times and the initial hardness of the product goes away once you break the seal. Then it turns a bit softer. Maybe some people are keeping it at the wrong temperature? When it’s left in my cold car it does seem to harden up. I like that it is in a tub so I can control how much I use and use up every last bit of product.

I found the one
Oh boy! I have been through a skin journey! I was constantly breaking out and had to take medication isotretinoin orally for 5 months. During that time, I was using CeraV. That was the only moisturizer that helped my skin. But I found later it wasn’t vegan! So I searched for a replacement and I found this! This is the holy grail for skin and especially if your using acutane. I have both the light weight one in the pump bottle and this one and I use both. The light weight one for summer(sometimes morning moisturizer. I go to the gym and i use water to rinse and then i use the light weight moisturizer. Works great!) and the ultra moisturizer for winter cold weather/ night time cream. This ultra moisturizer works soooo well! It may feel thick at first but the way your skin will absorb it is so fast. My skin feels like butter when i wear this at night and it works really well in the cold weathers. I also wear makeup so for those ladies looking for an extra boost of moisturizer to get you through the day while you wear makeup, this is a good one. I really hope they stick to this formula. I found the one and I would like to be sticking to it for life!

So far so good
Received a small amount from my family to try, I have a bad patch of eczema. It works well to relieve dryness and helps with itching. Will keep using it until the jar is complete to tell if it helps long term. A small amount goes a long way, so I'm using it twice a day.

Great unscented moisturizer
This is one of the best moisturizers I've tried without a greasy feeling or feeling like I can taste it. It is comparable to the RX moisturizer I've tried that cost way too much.

Might burn your face
I bought for my face but i found it to be too thick and it pilled off horribly after an hour or so. But on my hands is amazing. I have very dry hands and this is better than the best hand creams I've tried. It's as good as kiehls hand salve but way cheaper and you get more. There's not enough here to be my dedicated body moisturizer but I plan to use on feet knees and elbows as wellUpdate: tried it on my face again and it actually highly irritated my skin. I put it on and almost immediately rinsed it off because it was feeling irritating. An hour later and my cheeks are still bright red and hot. The only difference between this time and last time i tried it on my face is the vitamin c serum I used several hours ago this morning. It does not seem to react well with vitamin c i suspect. Probably don't try it with any other possible irritants

Greasy and Pills!
I got this cream as a cruelty free dupe for my favorite CeraVe moisturizing cream after reading a couple articles saying this one is similar. It is NOT.This cream is really thick! I wouldn’t have minded because I need a lot of moisture for my skin because of my retinoids, but it’s just too thick. It feels like I’m digging through a balm whenever I try to get some product from the container. It’s so thick it doesn’t even move.I tried to stay hopeful because many reviews said it dries down to be lightweight but it did not. It felt so heavy on my skin (which at times I appreciated because of the post retinoid dryness) and it was a bit suffocating. Not only that, it felt almost greasy. My face would always stick to my pillowcase. I tried using it on my legs after shaving and my legs would not stop sticking to EVERYTHING.My biggest complaint though: it pills like crazy. You can’t even add a second layer of this cream without it pilling on itself. It always pilled under my sunscreen making me have to wait at least twenty minutes for it to sort of dry down to reduce the pilling.Lastly, while it’s fragrance free, the smell is a bit weird. It’s definitely not like any cream I’ve smelled. It’s not bad enough for me to say it’s not worth buying because of this specific reason, but it’s definitely a smell I won’t ever forget and won’t miss.Because of all the different things I mentioned, this will not be repurchased. However, it could make a good heavy duty cream for something like your hands or feet to use at night. I just don’t think you should buy it even for this reason when you can use other creams that are of higher quality.

Not a Facial Cream
I tried to get past the red, stinging skin for the fact it doesn’t clog my pores and sinks in quite well. However, IT’S NOT FOR THE FACE, and I didn’t know this. I had it recommended to me as a face cream and have been using it as such. I don’t have sensitive skin, and this stuff turns my face bright bright pink and it stings for a half hour or so. It would be a good cream if it didn’t have whatever makes it burn so bad. It moisturizes okay but I live in California and our winters aren’t very harsh and this isn’t enough to keep the skin moisturized at night. I tried layering it with oils but my skin was just not moisturized in the morning.I’m back on the search for a good, hydrating face cream after I thought this was my replacement. Rip
