Works very well. This replaces the hearing aid from the audiologist and would have cost me ten times as much if I got it from her. If you don’t have a physical problem, why pay more? I especially appreciate the extra piece on the hearing aid cord that helps keep the aid in place. If I had had that, I likely wouldn’t have lost the first one.

I'm writing this review after owning and wearing this device nearly every day for a year and a half. It just stopped working yesterday and I can't get it to come back to life. I'm guessing the average life expectancy of this device is about a year and a half. I'm assuming that an actual hear aid that costs $1,000 or more would last longer, but I don't know.Overall I'm satisfied with the product but I do wish it had lasted longer. Battery life is about what you'd expect. I got about 10-14 days out of a battery. For the most part I do think it helped me hear better.I'm not sure if I'm going to replace this device with a like device, do nothing, or look into hearing aids. The latter is so expensive that I'm not sure I want to go that route.

I have a very mild hearing loss, I use level 2. This is only my second day using the amplifier and it is perfect. Definitely small, light weight, and comfortable. Right away I could tell a difference. I can hear voices and conversations that used to be muted. The real test will be when someone comes up to me and whispers. That is the main reason I got the devise, I couldn't hear whispered conversation.

Poor sound quality and no noticeable sound cancellation. Volume worked well and unit was very comfortable to wear. Packaging and instructions were very well done. But the bottom line is that this unit just didn’t work for me and my hearing problems.

The first day the device worked splendidly. After the first day there was unbearable feedback. Cracking, hissing, voice feedback that buzzed like a kazoo. I changed the battery 3 days in a row. The company said they had included return postage which they had not. This product was a waste of time and money. I had such hopes based on customer feedback.

This hearing amp, the Apex, is a wonderful product. It really feels natural as if I didn't have it on except when my ear canal has an itch. This occurs laster in the day. Every sound so far sounds natural unlike the other amplifier I have which still a great improvement. The specifications on the Apex are great and are stellar when compared to other amplifiers. I will stay with Otofonix in the future.

Doesn’t work anymore did not last long about two months

It evidently ships in see through package and my first package arrived empty. Amazon quickly made me whole and I decided to get it shipped as a gift . I've only been playing with it for part of a day but compared to 3 other purchases of amplifiers for my ear (can't afford 3 to 6,000 for hearing aids) this will do until the new rules for ear buds are passed now that we have a new Party in control. A law went into affect in 2017 that allowed ear bud manufactures to make hearing assisted buds but the Government never got around to passing Legislated controls for the Industry. I'm hoping it will not be long before Amazon can have Ear Buds blue toothed to compatible equipment with hearing assisted buds like Fire TV or Music unlimited , phones
