The switch for my garbage disposal broke, rather than replacing it with a standard light switch, I opted for this. There is an audible click when you press the switch (I don’t see an issue there) but it works well and seems to be decent quality.Installation in my case was pretty simple, though you may want an electrician if you’re not comfortable with electric.

I needed a switch that functions like a momentary button to send a pulse to a relay. This works perfectly, and looks like every other Decora styled switch in the house.

I got this to use for our Sink Waste Disposer. It is easy to install, goes in just like any other light switch. I looks like a standard Decora style light switch, but works as a momentary on switch. When you press the upper part of the switch (aka ON) the switch is active for as long as you hold it. Release and its off. Pressing the lower part of the switch (aka OFF) doesn't do anything. For our use this works perfectly, to turn on the disposer, just press the ON part of the switch, and hold it for as long as you want the disposer to be on for, when you are done, release the switch and the disposer turns off. It would be a great switch for anything that you want to have on just for a moment while you're at the switch. And, since it looks just like a standard Decora switch, it blends in perfectly.

A satisfactory SPST momentary switch in a Decora package. Bought and installed two. The ground screw is oddly located on a tab that sticks out quite far, it might cause issues with a careless install in any position other than the leftmost in a multi-device box. Not for installation where aesthetics are a concern, it appears "cheap" (to be fair, it is cheap). Overall, a good purchase for me in my use case.

This is a wonderful switch. It clicks solidly and feels strong. Using it to control a Fibaro dimmer, and it does the job exactly as advertised. Will probably grab more of these eventually

Works as advertised. Home depot didnt have anything like this so i had to go through Amazon

If you're setting up home automation and need a momentary switch (click on, click off), then this is perfect. The light switch is always in the same position, regardless of the light being is on or off.

Purchased for my garbage disposal! Easy to install, looks great, and works as expected.

This difficult to find switch functions exactly as required. It is well made and the quality seems to be very good.
